I find myself in London next Friday ahead of a night in a Heathrow hotel before flying to Germany (nothing so glamorous as a World Cup Final - the best I can hope for a a couple of Norwich City pre-season friendlies!). I won’t arrive at Liverpool Street until about 9pm, and the venue’s another 30 minutes from there.
It might be a silly question, but are most people still likely to be around at that point if I pop in? And will there be some sort of storage for a small suitcase?

There should be plenty of space for a small suitcase. @chris1979 usually deals with taking coats and bags at the door

Is anyone staying at the Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo on Friday and checking in prior to making their way over to the Do or to the pre drinks? Let me know if you want to wander over together.
I have just been doing a virtual walk along Leake Street using Google Maps, thinking it might be a handy short cut under the station. OMG I will definitely NOT be taking any short cuts along that route!! I must say they do a much nicer class of under-station tunnel in Leeds!

Ohhh now it’s not that bad . It’s a hipster hang out now . Network rail spend a small fortune doing it up. There a theatre. Some restaurant me and bars. It is the graffiti caplital. Some utter rubbish but today I was surprised to see some great works supporting Cancer Care.

I am staying at the Tower Bridge Hilton but don't mind coming by the Hampton if you want an escort.

I’ve asked for a reserved area but I’ll bring a big flyertalk sign and I’ll ask the staff for anyone who asks for “the flyertalk table” to point you in our direction.

If you're flittering between hotels and bars, wifi may be an option and with it a service such as whatsapp. Used to come in handy when I was in the US and traveling over. But yes, more traditional methods may need to be found for this, like wearing a bandana or a purple shirt or indeed flashing a flyertalk sign at a bar.
