Not the regional ones that usually fly around the Gulf, only selected models that fly longer (e.g. European) routes.

Free water and yoghurt/crunchy bar in ET as far as I could see. No trolley in CE, served from the galley one by one

Was interested to hear the Unite leader on BBCNews this morning with claims of 'regulatory safety concerns around Qatar', 'Poor human rights at Qatar' and 'equivocal UK work permit legalities'
Interesting to see how far that goes...
Hadnt realised the pay element had been essentially agreed and its all now around withdrawn additional benefits

Sidebar on the font (forgive me, mods): it is very common to see even the most formal notices in ZRH printed like that from BA - as others have said, it is due to the local computer systems which can't handle BA central sending word documents across, apparently (so I was told c.2yrs ago when the US 'turn your laptop on' situation happened).

Why central don't send across as a PDF, I don't know ...

So all QR planes are on remote stands near B and C gates. Does BA want to avoid these planes being seen?

Qatar has a lot of British A320 pilots, many of whom are ex-easyJet. One of my friends is, as an example. I haven't spoken to him recently, but I presume that all the pilots/cabin crew coming to LHR will be either British or EU nationals. A lot of the cabin crew at Qatar are Eastern European.

These aircraft have used a mix of on and off pier stands across T5 today. T5 is pretty much a glass box and therefore no matter there they are parked they will be seen. BA is in no way hiding these aircraft.

Did they serve BA food or Qatar food? A big win if it was QR food.

I'm on my Al Maha plane now and it's 12 in business with power ports and Wi-Fi. A slight step up compared to club Europe

A number of off-topic and disruptive posts which commented on the merits of the strike itself rather than the deployment of QR aircraft have been removed. Please contain discussion in this thread to issues around that deployment - opinions on the strike itself should be made in the main thread:
