That's a great fare - thanks for posting. Any idea if stop overs are allowed?

Not sure on stopovers. I've left overnights in the itinerary.

Seem to be virtually no blackout dates.

Sorry - would you mind posting how you got it to price via JFK? I can't seem to get it to price, neither can the BA ticket line.

You can get 720 TPs for the same price, including transcon product - PRG-LHR-JFK-LAX-SFO-LAX-JFK-LHR-PRG.

If you wish to pursue this option, I would suggest you to visit the TP Run thread since some don't like these types of posts in this thread.

You can't book this routing via BA.com or phoning BA. You have to build the itinerary on ITA Matrix, paste it into Bookwithmatrix and then buy via AA.com or Priceline.

Not entirely correct - you can book by phoning BA. The same fare basis (ILN8R4Z1) and price is available on both AA and BA.

Although booking via AA.com is, of course, much easier in my opinion.

Just as an observation, Matrix is showing lots of availability later in the year at NOK14721 (about £1350) for ARN-HEL-LHR-JFK-LAX-SFO and back which would net 40+80+140+140+40 x 2 = 880TPs at £1.53/TP, with decent flight times and metal...

I have a new job in Hong Kong.

Looking for LON or any European airport to HK. Struggling to find decent fares. Is Cathay ever discounted? Dates are:

31st Aug - Return 15th Sep

1st Oct - can return whenever - ideally June / July 2018

The AMS-BKK fare is around £1250 and allows HKG built in for maybe £100 more. Have a look and play around with to suit if this is around your budget?

OSL to USA (eg: SFO, IAD) for around £600 in Premium Economy. Could be a good deal if you want to upgrade to Club World using Avios. Dates over Christmas are available, also November. I didn't check much more... it's something like 6,000 - 6,200 NOK return. Found it via The Ginger Travel Guru's blog (the SFO) and found the IAD myself. Presumably other US destinations are included.

Normally the sales start at dates around Thanksgiving but not earlier in November, I believe

About £1650 Thanksgiving week

Recently LAS was £1250 so I'd certainly hold out a bit
