Just to be clear, is your final leg back to Boston or Manchester? A ticket with 3 TATLs would be unusual.

Well that depends on your definition of 'announced' I was including those posting on here as announcers too. Perhaps I should have said "not until it has started" where started is defined as when fares have been loaded and reported by someone somewhere.

Generally there is one at the end of August/September, however you cannot guarantee that BA will have the sale at this point of time

Given the terrible press they are currently getting, they should really have one soon, especially as the flights i have been watching have just jumped up by £200 in economy- when they are still £200 more than AA flights.

That's usually a sign of an incoming sale. The last 2 years prices were gradually going up in August until the sale around the Bank Holiday weekend. Good marketing too, you just come back from holiday and they lure you into planning the next one
