There are usually pretty good DUB fares all year round though.
I think the oneworld joint venture is trying to squeeze EI out of existence.

another attempt at working out LAS strategies, might need to make a trip out at the end of the month, nothing better then £2200, so I'm wondering something else: Flying AA its offering me LHR-JFK-LAS-PHL-LHR in economy for about £580, which is great, but, is there any way to mix travel classes, obviously aiming to fly transatlantic in Y and the domestic legs in F?
AA multicity doesn't give that option

Domestic F can be quite expensive: you will be paying for the transatlantic and domestic parts as separate journeys, even if you push them all on the same ticket.

Yes you can but you'd have to book by telephone. You will probably find it is easier to book the legs separately.

Even just booking economy JFK-LAS-JFK is about £480, F comes in at £840 unfortunately. Ah well, at least end of june is only £1200 in the baby bus ^

Consider WT+? Then the domestic sectors would book into full Y class and earn 70 points instead of 35 each way.

Hello
Looking for review of planned TP run and your experience on ideas etc
First off I am 1000 points short of maintaining my GGL, and I want to spend a few days in Vegas. So looking to combine the two
Normally I had made GGL with just normal work travel, but been “stranded” in London for the last few months and now need do make it up before then end of the month
Start in AMS, via LCY, to JFK return and then a AA in first return (direct) JFK to LAS
..............
Thank you so much for any help
Leslie

BA booked my trip from AMS via LCY/JFK to LAS all in one ticket and heading pout next week to do the 1000TP run.
But tis the first time I have done ex-EU ticket thing, and I so a newbie at this. 2 questions
I am on the 4:20pm AMS-LCY flight on Monday (doing LCY-JFK the next morning). There is a 13:05pm LCY to AMS flight, getting in at 15:10pm in AMS
My guess is that its that same plane, but not sure. The point is I don’t want to miss the start of my AMS to LAS run, so do I risk the 1 Hour 10min turn around, or take an earlier flight and hang around AMS for 3 hours?
From what I read in the forums, I need to get my boarding card, for the AMS to LCY run first. Where do I do this? Print at home?
The question is I was not planning on taking my luggage for the Las trip to AMS, and would just want to check that in the next morning in LCY. Will they let me do this if I have checked-in in already and printed boarding pages?
Thank you for the help

MCT at CPH
Thinking of booking a TP run/holiday hybrid in the Qatar sale. Am looking at return flights to CPH (QR 163 arriving at 19:00) and wondering if there was sufficient time to connect to the last BA flight of the day (BA 821 leaving at 19:50).
My main concern is whether Qatar would through check my bags to London on a separate ticket. I accept the connection is risky (and I would have to buy a new seat if missed) but:
- My limited experience of Qatar suggests their annoyingly early boarding approach is likely to reduce the probability of delays
- The BA flight towards the end of the day will probably be delayed
- CPH seems to bean easy airport to navigate
Any thoughts?

Speaking of Qatar - there's some interesting propositions with their online upgrade offer (offered ~3 days before the flight). It says if you're crediting to Qatar Privilege Club you receive only the original fare miles/TP. Has anyone ever taken these and credited to BA? Any idea how they credit?

I've done a same plane turnaround with Hand Baggage Only (HBO) at AMS and it's very straight forward. Coming from London, you arrive non-Schengen, and arriving/departing passengers mix, so you don't need to go anywhere - just wait for the boarding call.
The general feeling is that doing a B2B is safer than arriving on an earlier aircraft. If the inbound aircraft is delayed then the outbound will be delayed as well, whereas a much earlier flight might get cancelled, or delayed so much that you arrive after your return flight departs from AMS. So your LCY-AMS is BA8453 I assume, and your AMS-LCY is BA8454, so this will be the same plane.
With a 1 hour 10 min gap, you might want to head to the lounge - I think it's a new lounge at AMS if memory serves me well. If you want to do that I think all you need to do is go through a simple security check on the way back to the gate.

Cheapest way to get 30TP?
Should I be trying to book before 28th April changes?
Probably should point out, exLHR

The B2B Immediate Turnarounds thread tells you what you need to know - you can find it here:

Although not a TP run question, it is related to my forthcoming TP run - which starts a week on Friday. I have searched on FT but not been able to find what I want, even though I am sure I have read it on here. Hoping somebody can help based on their experience, especially as it involves BA2.
Arriving into LCY on Wednesday morning (07:15) and have a departure from T5 at 10:15am. What route would you recommend for the connection? TFL suggests going via HEX and takes just over an hour, whereas underground is slightly longer but cheaper. If underground, would you do the recommended connection via Green Park, or are there easier connections? Will be HBO, to make it easier for getting away from LCY.
