Checking Facebook, Mixed Fleet were called out for an adhoc JFK trip from LGW due to crewing issues, as we do cover each other's flights from time to time. As mentioned, hats are also worn on the LCY A318 by LGW crew and by Worldwide crew on the A380/B787.

Also the first time I've heard someone referred to as a "specimen", interesting.

Interesting! Why do WW crews on A380/787 wear hats?

Houston To LHR

I was coming back to London from HOU on First a few weeks ago. Shambolic, terrible service, no drinks served for over an hour following takeoff, food orders mixed up and finally cabin not cleared for landing, with one of the seats in the middle not placed correctly into the the take--off/landing mode. Well-done mixed fleet.

Blimey, they even went from the wrong airport too!

Another rant about mixed fleet Jonathan1974? Getting a bit repetitive.

Indeed, you can't expect BA to follow all the safety requirements all the time, and delayed drinks with mixed-up food is better than most people in the world get. He probably only paid a few thousand dollars for his ticket as well. Some people!

I agree, safety should never be compromised and service standards should be upheld. However, there is a better way of dealing with these issues rather than come on a forum like this to moan and berate crew relentlessly.

Speak to the CSM onboard so that the issues can be fed back to the crew member and dealt with. Mixed Fleet scores well for customer satisfaction so whilst there are instances where clearly more training is needed, on the whole passengers are very happy with the service they provide.

British Airways is not the only airline on the planet, so if you don't like them fly with someone else. (Jonathan1974 said he was going to stop flying with BA in July last year, but clearly can't keep away! )

The poor guy has less than 30 posts to his name! In my experience here, I don't think it's good for the health of this forum to discourage such posters from sharing their experiences, especially as a BA staff member.

I'm not discouraging sharing experiences, I'm saying people need to address the situation at the time so that it can be rectified as simply writing negative posts on here will not change anything.

...except affect staff morale. I'm sure it's not nice for MF staff to come on here and read about how awful they all are.

I have never had less than good service from any of BA's "crew fleets".

He can't keep away because he works for us

Kind regards

That is statistically very unlikely, unless you only fly once or twice a decade.

And this is not a call about the quality of BA or MFvsWW. It is just not possible in the service industry to have a 100% score.

I didn't say 100%, I only said "good". I suppose that's on a scale from appalling to amazing, with good being just up from the mid point of that scale.
