    Voucher eligible spend
Pretty much everything counts towards the £10,000 (or £20,000) required to earn a 2-4-1 Companion Voucher, including the following which might be unexpected:
    • Foreign transaction fees

    A few things that don't:
    • Annual membership fee
    • Interest payments
    • Transactions under £1 (although you can earn the single Avios )

The online total to the right of the card summary is pretty up to date, and far more useful for tracking spend than what the statements show.

    Insurance
Both standard and Premium Plus cards include insurance benefits for goods and services purchased on the card. Full details here and here respectively. Summary of Premium Plus benefit are shown here, with standard card offering same cover unless alternate figure is shown in parentheses:
    • Purchase protection: £2,500
    • Refund protection: £300 (£200) per item
    • Flight delay / cancellation / overbooking / missed: £200 (£0)
    • Baggage delay (6+ hours): £750 (£0)
    • Baggage delay (48+ hours): £1,000 (£0), additional to 6 hours benefit
    • Accident: £250,000 (£75,000)
    • Hijack (24+ hours): £1,500
    • Hijack (72+ hours): £3,000, additional to the 24h benefit

Had two lots of 40 points added to my account. It just says Avios offer, must have started getting points before I got the email.

Are people seeing the bonus avios show up on the transactions page or just the usual base avios and they will hopefully show up later?

There seems to be a gap of 4 to 5 days but they then appear aggregated on all transactions for the day in question

Credits for the extra avios seem random and sporadic. I had a few credit quickly, others not crediting at all, other numbers not really tying up, and one random large credit which may or may not be an aggregated single value. No credits for anything below £4 (as expected), other credits seem to round to the nearest £4 increment.

I had the same problem, phoned up amex and they gave me a avios credit equivalent to the missing ones.

I think their program calculated an aggregate amount of avios based on transactions three days previously but for me the program broke down on 13th december and didn't start working again until 28th

My BA Amex offers seem to be all over the place - looks like I've been getting Bonus Avios on TfL spend, which was mentioned on HFP but for which I wasn't targeted and it never appeared on my account; I haven't got any of my Bonus Avios on December spend despite getting the email (T&Cs say that it can take up to 90 days from 27 Dec for them to appear so I guess I have to wait before querying); I've got Shop Small money back on some purchases made after Christmas; and I've had emails but no refunds for a couple of other Amex Offers. Feels like their systems are in a bit of a mess at the moment...

Only had one issue with the statement credits and that was for Esso - didn't even track.

Everything else has been working OK and after a spate of not getting any tracking emails I am getting them again.

The only other issue I had is for my Amex SPG which I suddenly started getting printed statements for despite it being online only on my account - a call and raised to their IT team appears to have sorted this.

My Avios haven't transferred into my BA EC account yet this month. They show as "leaving" my BA AMEX PP account on 13th January. Normally they credit within 24 hours and show on my BA account on around 14th - 15th of each month. As of this morning (19th) they still hadn't credited to my BA EC account so I had an online live chat with Amex customer services. Very quick and very helpful. Apparently there is currently a known issue with BAs systems "accepting" Avios being transferred from Amex. The assistant informed me they are working with BA to resolve this. He couldn't give me a timescale but has forwarded my query to the relevant dept. and informed me they should show in my account in the next few days.

Hi, sorry if this has been raised and answered before, I've had a search but couldn't find anything. Has anyone else noticed that if you make a multiple person booking, this is showing up as separate charges on your Amex statement?

Just had a mini freak out at multiple lines appearing on the same day, but then dawned on me what they were doing.. Is this a new thing?

It has always appeared as one line/entry per person for me.

On your full PDF statement it will have the ticket number and passenger details for each individual entry.

The total amount paid should of course be correct

Same for me. Quite a lot of detail on the PDF statement really, which is great for reconciling various trips to various accounts.
