241's are no longer extendable, think this was stopped when BAPP cards were allowed 2 years to use. I don't think the old long layover wheeze works either I'm afraid.

Well my Plat Amex x2 have both credited back but the MBNA hasn't yet for HN's & GAP. Hopefully will do so by tomorrow...

Should I expect an email or some other sort of notification about the Foursquare / Harvey Nichols £25 credit? I spent the money on my BAPP Amex a few days before Xmas but have heard nothing yet.

You should get a Foursquare notification (via the app) a few minutes after the purchase, but no email and you don't get notified when you get the credit. However, there have been numerous reports of people not getting the notification but still getting the credit.

It is correct. The reason is that the "fare basis" for a redemption seems to be BAFM01 (or something similar), which the Amex IT interprets as booking into "B" class. I've recently seen a partner redemption for which the "fare basis" was PAFM05, which was duly interpreted as "P" class.

Anyone know if you get a pro-rata refund if you cancel the SPG amex card ?
I overlooked that the renewal date for my card was Dec, and its just renewed. Don't really need it, and might cancel with a view to churning it in 6 months time.
