Where did you see it or was it an internal picture?

I’ve sat in it (outside of an aircraft) though I suspect I shouldn’t explain further detail other than it’s a simple evolution - don’t expect a “suite” with high walls such as SQ/EK/EY etc etc.
whether that final iteration actually rolls out now though - I’ve no idea!

Thanks for the insight. I’m surprised they didn’t go for something more revolutionary, like the ME3. I guess they feel they don’t need to try and compete by making a big ‘apartment’.

There are a couple of manufacturers with some genuinely “revolutionary” seating concepts for J (utilising a similar footprint as existing) but most of what can be done in F (given current cabin sizes) has been done.
However, this has taken the thread way off track so I’ll leave it for another one!

For those in the UK, Quest have a new series filmed at St Athan starting on the 26th May.
Former BA 747s and 767s are featured. Will also be available on dplay.

Interesting, is that a Landor livery at 1:09?!

I think the 'Speedwing' is actually a reflection of the towbar:

Other than the newly painted BA100 Landor 744, there haven't been any Landor liveried aircraft for about 20 years now - yes, Utopia, and the Speedmarque, are 23 years old this June.

New seat was always planned for the 777-9's and the new 77W's are to get the modified seat.

It takes many years to develop a seat from the ground up

Looks interesting, but I hope they don’t over egg things like many Channel 5 “24/7” programmes do!

I thought the seat Lenis described was the new one for the 777-9?

Ahh thanks, yes, looks like it could well be (or something of similar colour). Yes, I was surprised that a Landor aircraft might have survived that long! However, I seem to recall seeing a few ground vehicles and engineering bits and bobs at Heathrow that still have Landor livery on.

The former G-BNWP is back at LHR this morning in it's new guise as N700KW. Never thought LHR would see another RR-powered 767 again.

I believe these are the delivery dates for the next aircraft:

20th May - G-XWBF
21st May - G-ZBLA

From online sources:

Emirates is said to be drawing up plans to permanently decommission 40 per cent of its Airbus A380 superjumbo fleet with a final decision likely to be officially announced within days according to several sources said to be familiar with the matter.
This unfortunately makes me think BA will have very few 747s/A380s when this is all over. Although I don’t know what would replace them on the dense JNB and LAX routes.
