As a Blue I don't get this anyway. I mean, mate, I'm in a tracksuit anyway, and my trainers were washed last April so they're OK. She had a bath last Thursday, so she doesn't need nuffink either.

PJs are for [deleted], innit? I mean, we sleep like we were made. If you could sleep in these scabby Y seats, does that mean we supposed to get our kit off? Bloody cold back here, don't think I fancy that anyway.

Odd lot sitting up front. Glad I'm sat back here with the crisps and the beer.

Funny you should ask that....in my mountaineering days I had blue thermals just like that.
Bit tight round the nether regions to be seen on a aircraft with though, especially when one is......hmm, hmm, well endowed.
Rather sweaty as well I imagine.

I'm weak ... I just had to Google her:
She came to prominence in 2004 as one of the finalists on the third season of American Idol, coming in seventh place.

Still on the topic of undergarments as far as I can tell (or so I think).

But she also won an Oscar for her role in Dreamgirls, where she totally outshone Beyonce.

She has a truly stunning voice and her version of 'And I'm Telling You' is absolutelly amazing.

Which is a reasonable place to be ...

However, I do find it strange that people have a pressing need to change into some issued PJs to be able to sleep on an aircraft. Perhaps its my Military background, where one fell into the nearest ditch and slept when necessary?

I wear comfortable clothes when flying [is that a bad thing?]. I'm perfectly capable of sleeping in them when necessary.

Perhaps I'm not needing to wear my travelling clothes at the 0900 Board Meeting of Hyper-Planet Control Inc that gives me a different perspective?

Can we talk about thongs now? I've never met one.

I have no military background but I can sleep anywhere - including standing up, in day clothes.

I wear comfortable clothes when flying [is that a bad thing?]. I'm perfectly capable of sleeping in them when necessary.
I travel in blouse, skirt and jacket, always tights (and other obvious undergarments*), and I sleep in those on aeroplanes. I just cannot bring myself to wearing pyjamas in public. I'm probably far too uptight for the modern world.

I learned, however, that a lined skirt is problematic on sloped beds. It causes me to slide down more than I would otherwise. Not that I would forgo wearing lined skirts on aeroplanes

What?! "Meeting" thongs? They're just flop flops in Australian English (or a piece of undergarments in British English).

*"Obvious undergarments" as in undergarments that are definitely worn, as opposed to 'visible' undergarments
