Female? No problem.
Male? Stay covered.

Hate seeing shirtless men in the wrong place. Beach is fine but the street is not, nor is an aircraft. Why would anybody want to sit in a seat covered in somebody elses sweat - yuk.

I hate in the UK at the first sign of summer some men take their shirts off. Nine times out of ten it's a builder type with a massive beer gut, revolting tattoos and ugly as sin - yuk, yuk, yuk. Makes me want to throw up!

I have a saying - Real Men Keep their Shirts On

Agreed. For clarity, my friends were 27 year old US Marines. I don't think the female OR male FAs minded much, in hindsight.

Not sure merely 'reasonable' would cut it at this day and age when we've got such unrealistic expectations of body image - on both sexes.

A CalvinKlein underwear model physique would pass muster, but how many of us actually (care to) have (and maintain!) such a build?

Look what you started. We have half AA Forum come over to expose themselves as they would never get away with it over there.
First off me lady, I don't just keep myself confined to the AA Forum as I love coming to the BA Forum from time to time. Much more "vibrant".

and second, I love the contrast between men and women to this issue:

Woman: I can't Have P.F. so I will not love another!

Man: So you don't love me Ana? damn that sucks. (30 mins later) Who are you? Rosa is your name? Ehh...I guess you'll do.

Just flew from JFK, and the gentleman next to me went and changed into his pjs... When he was putting his clothed away I noticed that his underwear was left on the floor... To avoid embarrassing him I turned my face and said nothing. But when I looked again it wasn't on the floor

A few may know this

In Shanghai China, older Shanghainese still wear their pajamas out in public as a sign of wealth.

I now understand it must be a legacy of British colonialism. I'd pay money to see someone walking Nanjing Rd in their BA pajamas.

Anyone?

Would never have done it but for reading this thread, but took my own PJs with me and made a point of changing into them for sunday night's ORD-LHR in Y. Step too far? Maybe, but I did sleep the best I ever have in Y.

Oh, and undies off!

Have BA lost you luggage. The cold weather / snow caused so many problems. Use the Amex and get some clothes.

Just flew SYD to LHR on BA10, my first longhaul on BA F, and was surprised at a couple of gents who changed at their seats. The first chap was in 1K, and might have though he was out of sight of most of the cabin (a boxer shorts man, thankfully). I must be used to a more modest lot over at QF!

And another oddity was an older American chap, who put the amenity socks on over his own, then put on the slippers and went to bed so dressed. I guess it would keep draughts away...
