Ok, first ever redemption. Can anyone help me out with the following, I can't find anything whatsoever on ANA:

Departure Late September (anywhere from 25-28 September 2009)
PVG-AKL
2 Persons, Business Class

Return Early October (anywhere from 5-7 October 2009)
AKL-PVG
2 Persons, Business Class

While in NZ i'm looking to add a AKL-ZQN-AKL sector on, but can't find any availability for that also.

Any help appreciated!!

Edit: Some further searching has found another option of flying PVG-NRT-CHC and then returning AKL-PVG. This actually works out pretty well as i was planning on traveling to Queenstown which seems easier to reach from CHC.

Edit2: Ok, some further research reveals this itinerary. I wonder whether this is allowable by BD. Don't really understand rules regarding stopover:

Outbound:
PVG-NRT-CHC (no avail. on PVG-AKL)
stopover
CHC-ZQN

Inbound:
ZQN-AKL
stopover
AKL-PVG

Edit3: Unfortunately no dates work on the ANA tool (for two persons that is) and the ICC didn't help much either. Can someone help me look for availability with CA via SYD or MEL. I hate to go the CA route, but it may be all i got. Else i'll have to choose another holiday to go to NZ

Need help finding flight PVG to AKL or CHC late September

After several hours of searching and two calls to the ICC i'm about ready to give up. I've secured return flights to PVG from AKL, but i haven't managed to find anything for the flight from PVG to either AKL or CHC.
ANA isn't showing any availability for two persons in business class to either of these cities on 26, 27, or 28 of September 2009.

Can anyone help me out? I haven't found anything via KIX, NRT, PEK on those days. HKG and SIN didn't look promising either. Can't search for CA flights via SYD or MEL but ICC said there was no avail. for two in business.

Any help appreciated!

NRT to CHC or AKL available in biz on 28th. ANA have availability on connection from PVG and I'm sure Shanghai Airlines will too.

Also consider SQ via Australia.

I tried this already but unfortunately i'm traveling with two, and that option only had only one seat available.

Two seats on the NZ090 1815 leg according to ANA. You'd have to take CA929 PVG-NRT at 0955 or the NH flight the night before to connect.

(Looks like the same NZ flight goes NRT-CHC-AKL oddly.)

Thanks, i'm not able to see if CA929 has availability for 2 in business (I only have ANA). Would you happen to know?
As for the NH flight (NH960), i've heard this one has been canceled, just don't know when this will go into effect (supposedly as part of it's Winter 2009/10 operational plan change).

Yes, according to expertflyer there are 4 C seats available on CA929 (the two later options are full). In fact, I almost didn't check but there are 2 F seats available too and you should be able to book these as this is the shorter flight. Lie flat seats according to SeatGuru, not bad for a 3 hour hop.

If NH960 was cancelled I guess they'd put you on a different flight, and this "plan" might get you the perfect same-day connection but it's a bit of a gamble. ANA has NH960 marked "NQ", maybe meaning non-qualifying so perhaps you won't be able to book it anyway.

thanks for all that. on the phone now with Brendan, very smooth so far. unfortunately he can't see any F on the CA929 flight so went ahead and too the C seats.

I'm getting this for the flights:
Outbound:
9/28: PVG-NRT CA929 business
9/28: NRT-CHC NZ090 business
stopover
10/2: CHC-ZQN NZ5383 economy

18750 pp + 228.8

Inbound:
10/6: ZQN-CHC-AKL NZ636/NZ524 economy
stopover
10/8: AKL-PVG NZ089 business

18750 pp + 253.5

can anyone give an confirm the taxes for the outbound and are the inbound taxes going to be similar?

thanks again!

LX333 LHR-ZRH

24 Nov

NQ is to my knowledge the IATA airline designator for Air Japan, a low-cost subsidiary of ANA.

I can get LHR-LAX in C with NZ but only Y coming back.

I would like therefore to do LAX with UA connecting to LH to FRA and then on to LHR. Is this return routeing allowed and what will they charge in terms of miles-would it be a straight Z3-Z1 redemption?

Any ideas of a more efficient way to do it?

Thanks in advance
