You don't need a balance to check. You just need to read the bmi sticky for the work-around.

You can use the workaround approach to complete the ANA search even with no ANA points - see elsewhere on the forum...

I checked out a few routings for you. Nil on 12th dec, but MIA-LHR via FRA with LH has 3 seats in biz departing 13 Dec. There is no direct flight with *A carriers, so via FRA is no hardship. 3 seats in C are hard to find though, so if you want those, act fast!!

No need for your ANA account to have miles in it. Just use AwardNexus.com which uses ANA and has a free verison for FT members.

Hi All,

I'm trying to find a routing from Japan (NRT,KIX,etc) to HNL in August (ideally in C, but would take Y).

The ANA tool is showing no availability; any ideas? I have no problem with taking a stopover somewhere

Not much availability NRT-HNL as you said. There is some Y availability going NRT/KIX-GUM-HNL with CO. Also gives you a place to enjoy a stopover ^

There is also MAJ-HNL Y availability everyday that the route is served. If you can find some way getting to MAJ via lots of little islands this could be a possibility too ^

C Aug.30 HND-HNL seems like the only C day available!!!

Ironically I am on that flight already booked in a C award!

If you can route to OGG/LIH and take a cheap interisland flight, BMI will let you route via LAX/SFO as its the only way to get there

SIN-BKK - 15th Sept - SQ976 x 2 in Business

ANA shows two reward seats in J but DC call center says "waitlist".

What's the story?

Well I checked in KF and they offer 2 C seats at saver award levels which is a good sign. I guess it is back to the good old call again and try your luck with a different agent.

TG414 flies at almost the same time but has no C seats available so your only option is the earlier TG404 flight if that works for you timing wise. SQ or TG on that route is not much of a difference and actually TG could have the better seat product depending on a/c used.

Thank you - I will try with another agent (I tried two already!)

Yes, I would take the TG flight if available but sadly it is not. The earlier flts don't work because of connections.
