Sorry - Been around this forum for long enough, so really should know better...

Have booked a redemption to Mexico to hook up with my daughter who'll be spending a week in Cancun. However alarmed by the fact that these blighters http://www.sealicecancun.com/ have their own website - so might go an see my brother in Asia instead...

Glad that LX is wide open, and thanks for checking this

Hi all, I'm trying to do IAD - EDI one way on 11th May and have 40k bmi miles to use. I can see UA First available via FRA and LHR but wondered if the LX option was available any way?

Any help greatly appreciated!

There's no direct LX fight IAD-ZRH, only UA codeshare.

Virgin redemptions

Hello all. We have a healthy number of airmiles on our DC account. A significant anniversary is coming up in November and I am wondering if there is a way of checking miles redemption availability with Virgin to Las Vegas then. Ideally we'd like to travel in UC.

I know I can't check using ANA so wonder if the Virgin site allows DC enquiries or am I only able to check through the Gold DC line?

Thank you.

You can check VS availability with a VS Flying Club account - you can just open one up on-line I think. Tho availability will be patchy as they use a low config J class a/c on that route from LGW.

But why go with VS? Iffy service/food IME, and for a load of miles too - no C+M with VS don't forget. Go to LAX with NZ and connect to LAS for 37.5k DC miles + Cash rtn in J. Way better value. Same seats+better food/beverage+better crews+less miles even if doing a full miles redemption.

Me again,

Would IAD - ORD - ZRH - FRA - EDI be a legitimate route? And if so, would it be 25k miles plus money plus taxes in F?

Sorry for being a pest!

Kenya LX question

Anyone with M&M or Expertflyer kindly check LX availability for me to Kenya.

Tall order this - seeking FOUR business class redemption seats. However flexible on dates, give or take a week. Would like outbound somewhere around 26 June, or anytime in the following ten days. For the return, looking to stay around a fortnight, so around 11 July or a few days later.

LX 401 - DUB / ZRH - overnight
LX 292 - ZRH / NBO

and the return...

LX 293 - NBO / ZRH
LX 400 - ZRH / DUB

Many thanks
