I am looking for a discount code that is good for weekly rental (10 days). The codes I use give me the daily rate times 10 days (too expensive). Can't seem to find a code that is good for a weekly rental only.
Thanks in advance. |

Hi All!
Can anyone beat Hertz? I am looking to rent a car for 7 days, one-way in Europe this summer. Details are as follows: Pickup: Milan Malpensa (MXP), 07/30 Drop-off: Munich (MUC), 08/06 After AAA discount and a 20% off Hertz coupon I get quoted $1234 for a midsize car. Can anyone beat this with AVIS? Your help will be greatly appreciated! |
Hi all! I am new to this so please excuse me if I post on the wrong thread.
I have a booking through Avis 17 Jun - 06 Jul using AWD-W329700 - (Krisflyer silver/gold) with the coupon code of UUWA055 (Single upgrade). My price is $892.84 with unlimited mileage and after tax and LDW. Do you think this is a good price? I know many would say that I shouldnt book a one way trip but since this is my first time in USA, I would really love to try to go on a road trip. Appreciate your input on how I can reduce the cost further. Cheers! PS: This is also my first time driving in US and my itinerary is SF - Yosemite - Death Valley - Las Vegas - Grand Canyon - Las Vegas - Valencia - LA. It would be nice of you if you can provide any advice for me as well. Many thanks in advance! Edited to include more info. Car pick up from Avis Beach Street, San Francisco. Car dropped off at Los Angeles Intl Airport. Car booked: Group E. Upgrade to Group G. |

(Before anyone gets bent out of shape, I know that SFO and LAX are airport codes, but since I am responding to a new poster who is probably also new to FlyerTalk, I wanted to make sure s/he will understand the question properly.) Also, are you driving from SFO the first day you are picking up the car, or are you staying there overnight before driving to your first stop? Finally, what is the original car class (meaning before applying the coupon) you are reserving? Compact, midsize, premium, etc? |

hello! I have included the answers for some of your question in my original post for easier reference. thanks for highlighting.

Play around with it a bit, such as I outlined above, and you could very possibly save a few bucks. |
Italy car rental - pls help me
Haven't seen an updated 2013 question if it's ok to use N711304 as it is a significant discount to rent from Florence to Orvieto $124 or Rome. $186.
I'm confused about insurance options. Do I choose w/insurance (what extra do I need to get)? or No deductible. This is alot of money for 2 days! Avis Punto $378 w/ ins Hertz Punto $402 w/ins Hertz Punto $473 no ded Should I get insurance4carhire? What about coverage with a credit card? Is it easy to return to FCO instead of Orvieto? Then we need to get into city. Any helpful comments will be appreciated. Been searching different codes found on this thread and I have a huge headache  |

Yes, it sounds like an Avis AWD number, but what company or group or association is it for? Finally, if you live in the USA, according to the insurance4carhire website, insurance4carhire is not available for you, since it is only being offered to RESIDENTS of the EEC. |
A442100 Code
Just curious, I read that the A442100 code for Deloitte.
Has anyone had any experience renting from New York City? I wanted to rent a car one way from New York and drop it off at Newark before leaving the country. Does anybody know if the folks at New York ask to produce ID, or if using that code raises any flags? |

btw - I just used the farmers code for a nice base discount off a 3 day one way from Germany to Belgium - unfortunately, couldn't get anything to remove the $100 one-way fee for dropping in another country but at least I saved about $50 total.
