Where can I see on the Avis website if a rate has "No Miles Included" ?

on the last page b4 you reserve youll see miles:

I'm using A074800 and getting Mileage: Unlimited this is from/to a non-airport Avis.

I'm pretty loyal to Avis, usually willing to pay a little extra as I've found them to be good if I get a dodgy billing from a location abroad. But in Lisbon, for June 12-14, I can get less than 78euros/day.

Europcar is a little more than half that. Does anyone have good codes for Lisbon? The ones mentioned in this thread for Lisbon don't do anything.

Have you considered calling the Avis rez line and asking for help, and for what the best rates available are?

Have you checked into renting in Lisbon metro area, and not at the airport? Once in a while, this yields lower rates. Are your dates firm? Have you checked into making your pick up either the day before or the day after? Have you tried splitting the rental into two parts? Sometimes that will give you a lower rate for part of the time, instead of giving you the higher rate for the whole time.

I have never rented in Portugal, so I can't swear by any of these AWD codes, and some of them might not work in Europe at all, but it can't hurt to try, right? Check out:

Hi to all, last saturday after many rental with awd k444404, I've saw that this code is blocked to all avis station, no working:(:( ..
But Avis workers said to me that this code is replace with another awd code..we have this code??

I'm looking for a rental between BZN and SFO for the following dates/times:
05-Sep-2011 10am > 20-Sep-2011 1pm

I am from the UK, and the cheapest i can get an 'intermediate' seems to be £565 (~$950) which seems very expensive! This is using K019300.

Can anyone help with some ideas to reduce this?

Just for information purposes this discount is not allowed for summer rentals from early July through mid-August even at non-airport locations. Tried to use it and it showed as blocked out.

CONFIRMED... so sad! This was the best rate I ever found.

Unfortunately, the reason that this AWD number disappeared is that so many people who were not eligible to use it used it, and Avis did away with the number to prevent further abuse and fraud.

Used this one numerous times in Poland, noone ever batted an eyelash.

Now cannot even pull up a future reservation, it comes up with AWD number invalid. Please correct and retry when I try to view/modify it.

So you might try to read through this thread and find some other AWD numbers to try. That particular number is not the only deep discount AWD number that exists (or that formerly existed), believe me!
