Just got really excited to use this AWD. For a 6 day rental other AWDs were quoting $369-$409... and with A074800 it knocked it down to $170. Wooot! EXCEPT (dun dun dunnnnnnnn) - no unlimited mileage. Considering I'd be driving this little rental all up and down the east coast, the savings I would have reaped with this snazzy AWD would have hosed me on mileage.
So... keep your eyes peeled for included/not-included mileage when using the A074800 code. Jill (longtime lurker) |

Has anyone had any problem whe using A074800?
When making my online reservation, added a free-day Entertainment Book code. A red-flag appeared stating that the coupon would not be accepted due to peak summer months (or some similar wording). However, at the AVIS Preferred booth in the garage during check-out, the agent stated that the coupon would be deducted upon return. Returned the car - $37 came off the bill. Another happy AVIS Preferred member! |

Subcompact for $24.50 ... total w/taxes is $29.84! ^ (Yes, I know the history of the code - not trying to start that discussion again) |

Didn't want to chance it since I'm non-Preferred and had access to the Exec Selection with National anyway. |

Costco
I have used Costco AWD/Coupons the last couple of times. The new neat thing is that you can pay in advance for an additional 20% discount, though there is a $10 fee if you cancel more than 24 hours prior, $50 within 24 hours.
Their AWD and current coupons are always on Costco.com, Travel, Rental Cars, Avis. |
Renting a car in Italy for 12 days and AWD N711304 offers a significantly lower rate. Has anyone used this AWD? Picking up at MXP. If I try to make the reservation with my wizard number included it says N711304 is not valid, if I leave out my wizard number I can complete the reservation.

Good code for Sweden?
Greetings,
Any recent experiences with an effective code for rentals in Sweden? The codes I used a few years ago don't seem to work these days, and a search did not yield anything. Thanks in advance. tb |
Does anyone have any codes for the UK. I did have a 15% off code from Topguest, but now it has dissapeared :(

I'm using the G417900 AWD this weekend for a week-long rental in NJ and I was just on the Avis site making a new rental from the same location for about 4 months from now and the rate it's showing is like $300 more than the one I was quoted in my previous reservation. In terms of my trip this weekend, does anyone know if I will get the rate quoted on my reservation or the new rate that's hundreds of dollars more?
