As of 2/12/14: We've had quite a few "Hey, come use this AWD. It's great" type of posts. When the AWD doesn't give a good discount, but is only posted to try to get renters to use the AWD of someone so the poster can earn free days from their Avis Corporate account. From here out, please put the company/trade group/etc that's associated with the AWD or we'll delete the post to keep it on-topic here.

Hawaii eligible coupons?
I've searched but every coupon code states it is valid in the "contiguous United States" and therefore of no benefit in Hawaii. Are there any Avis coupons valid at Hawaii locations?

Hi guys,
I want to rent a car in Germany and I wondered, if anyone got into trouble lately for using the K444404 Netjets code? It cuts about 40% of the price and I really can't imagine that no one will ask me for any id. The problem is, that the price only lowers, if you check the box for "payment on return". So I would be forced to pay a much higher price in the end if they ask me for a proof which I don't have. Any experiences on this?

12-day SFO rental
Hi Folks,
I'm looking for a 12-day rental to/from SFO starting on 12/21. I've found one using my florida state employee rate (I actually am one) for a total of $312 (incl. taxes) or so for a compact. However, I've seen various special week-long rates come up here now and again. Can anyone tell me if I should be looking for a specific kind of AWD/coupon for this longer-term rental? I'm used to short-term rentals, so I'm unfamiliar with this territory.
Thanks,
Alex

Try breaking your rental up into 2 rentals both with Saturday night stays to maximize coupon usage.

Bhatnasx's link overrules the high price of renting in FL over the holidays--even on weekly rentals (but no free day!) Even cheaper than my private AWD#!

Has anyone found any particularly good rates for a convertible in Kauai or a 2-week rental (one way) in New Zealand? Many thanks. (I have found some rates that work in these locations, but not better than my ABA rate).
