I will.
The hotel has a wonderful website with very nice photos and one of the things that drew me in was that every room has an entrance to the interior courtyard, a unique feature not usually found in hotels or only in the higher priced room categories. The history of the building also adds some colour and it seems colour is becoming rare in an increasing beige world. I've been guilty of opting for bland, predictable chain hotels rather than going for more memorable unique local gems and I want to start experiencing more of the destinations rather than merely seeing them.
Did I mention I was getting excited about this trip...

Impressive website?? Maybe, if you are into annoying music and bullsh..t descritons but do you stay in a website. I would pass on staying at a hotel on Mexico street in Montserrat.. I disagree completely with Eastbay on this one..

I guess we need to await for the report to act as a tiebreaker...?

nytango-- I would not be so quick to write off Monserrat on issues of location or "prestige" of this area.... the smart developers have been doing land-banking in the Monserrat area for quite some time now, expect this part of town to turn upscale in the not so long term.
Yes, soflyon would be good to report about this hotel... ^

I may be flying to eze later this month. I have a friend who lives in Entre Rios and his daughter plays Hockey. She has asked me to bring a Hockey stick down for her because they cannot get good quality ones in Argentina. I am wonderng if I bring one down, will I be assessed a tax at the airport to bring it in? I already know the airline might charge me for an oversized piece of equipment and am wondering if it will be cost prohibitive to try to do this?

Seriously though, you will not have a problem. The only people they are interested in are Argentines and residents bringing stuff back, particularly electronic stuff. Never have my friends/family been stopped or questioned entering the country as a tourist with laptops, cameras etc. With me, they normally ask if I am a tourist or not and as soon as I say I live here, they take a more active interest in what I have in my bags! I don't have the balls to lie in case they then ask to see my passport which is littered with permanent residency stamps!

Terroir featured in Forbes Life Magazine April 2009
Hi all
Forbes Life magazine April 2009 has cover feature of Argentina/ Buenos Aires....check page 77 iSALUD! and see article about Terroir this fab wine shop-cum tasting room article. I cannot find the exact article on line but it is in the magazine....
How could anyone of us even think about going to Argentina without enjoying this delightful experience?

I am going to BA in 9 days and i have 9 days there.
my friend booked this hostal called milhouse: www.milhousehostel.com
have any of you heard of it or know the area?
also, i plan to spend the weekend in BA but during the week i would like to travel outside the city any suggestions on if it is worth it to go all the way to iguazu or if i should hang out in uruguay and go to the coast, or any other suggestions for 3-4 days? ( i plan to be back in BA for the next weekend to party)
