Ok, I just finished calling front desk and am disappointed. Here's a summary of the changes.
Starting May 1:
All Crockford's Superior Rooms (anything that's below a suite) reservations will check in at the Conrad Lobby in a "Crockford's-only" desk. The original white chandelier lobby is now called the "Crockford's Club Lobby".
So now, both the Crockford's Club Lobby and Crockford's West Lobby are suite only check in.
Here's the real killer.
Crockford's Superior Rooms no longer have access to any complimentary valet. Self-parking only. What a joke.

FHR BELLAGIO now offers vip Pickup?
I am wondering if this might just be a weird scam. I received a letter supposedly from amex travel for VIP airport service pickup. The "from" email is [email protected] I booked a low level bellagio two queen suite and received an email asking me to fill out my flight information and return it to [email protected]. Apparently its so they have the information for airport pickup/drop off. When I called the number on the form she asked me about my flight information and I said I didn't know low level suites get airport pickup; I assumed only two bedroom penthouse suites get that for free. She said, oh did you book through FHR? I said yes, and she said its included. I have never seen that advertised as a FHR perk before and never received it before on same suite type (however that was 6 years ago). Can anybody tell me if this is a new perk or is it a scam?

Hmm, seems reasonable to be skeptical, but it looks like they have your reservation information, so unless it was a system hack, it seems likely this is in fact coming from Bellagio. I'd maybe check the 702-693 telephone extension and the @Bellagioresort.com email domain on Bellagio's website, and of course get in writing that the transfer is complimentary. Certainly other FHR hotels offer transfers as the special amenity (though not typically in LAS, and usually one-way from the hotel to the airport).

Last year I had to book a one BR penthouse to have the free transportation.
Seem they change it again but yes this is definitely coming from Bellagio. You’ll have a “small” stretch limo and the driver will meet you at the escalator with all drivers.
you’ll also have check in at the lounge and most probably lounge access during your stay. Enjoy.

I called Amex and they said they def don’t do this? Bellagio says they do though

yes it’s oddly not advertised so not surprised that Amex doesn’t know about it
if you can have a room in the main tower you should be able to use the elevator from the lounge

Hotel: The Cosmopolitan
Room Name/Type: Booked a Terrace Suite, received a Terrace Suite.
Check-in Day: Friday June 9th
Check-in Time:Saturday June 10th
Upgrade: No upgrade. To be fair, we had 3 guests, which limited the opportunity. Also, being a Friday night didn’t help. The room was on a high floor facing south, which is probably the best direction aside from north (fountain view). Provided a good view of the strip and the airport.
Late Checkout: 4pm no questions asked
Breakfast Credit: $75 credit at a handful of restaurants (see attached welcome sheet).
Misc Credits: $100 spa credit. The treatment was really good but the facilities are limited. I had zero temptation to make a day out of it.
Comment: The balconies are cool, and the Boulevard Pool is cool, but everything else is pretty annoying. The casino’s long-narrow floor plan makes it annoying to traverse, which is only compounded by the crowd that’s drawn to here.
The rooms themselves are pretty standard. not worth the premium they charge. At the same time, the hotel provides enough unique experiences to tolerate for 24 hours on a FHR stay.
Rate Paid: $430 + $114 taxes/fees.

Question: Has anybody status matched MGM Gold to Unity Icon (Mirage/Hard Rock) and then stayed at The Mirage through The Hotel Collection? I am curious whether they would waive the resort fees for Icon members on AmEx Travel bookings.
Hotel: Bellagio
Room: Two Queen Stay Well Room ($199 base rate on Monday, June 5)
Early Check-in: Not used.
Upgrade: No upgrade. The front desk upgraded a second comped room to a Fountain View King but told us the room wasn't ready yet. I went to the front desk just before midnight and got a text that the room was ready while talking to the front desk. The fountain shows had ended for the night and wouldn't start back up again until after check-out so the fountain view essentially became a pond view.
Late Checkout: 4 PM. No issues.
Breakfast Credit: $30 per person. Used at Bellagio Patisserie. Better crepes than across the street at Paris.
Credit: $100 F&B credit used at Din Tai Fung and The Buffet at Bellagio (combined with MyVegas BOGO). DTF was excellent and a short tram ride away at Aria. The Buffet may not even be worth it with the BOGO admission.
AmEx Offer Credit: Not used as I used the $200 FHR Credit on the Platinum Card. AmEx did have $140 off of $700 spent at Aria/Bellagio on rooms and room charges.
Comments: I prefer to visit Bellagio rather than stay at it. The flexibility to use the F&B credit at numerous MGM resorts is a huge perk and even more valuable with fewer MGM properties participating in FHR. The renovated rooms are nicer than before but nothing special. I booked the cheapest room in Caesars Palace that night for under $40 and was upgraded to a Forum Classic Suite. I have Diamond Status with no gambling activity and have been three for three with suite upgrades at Caesars Palace in the past six months without asking so I think I'll go to Caesars instead whenever I want a mid-Strip hotel.
Hotel: Palazzo
Two Rooms: One King Bed ($159 base rate on Tuesday, June 6)
Early Check-in: Not used. Invited Guests line open to FHR guests.
Upgrade: Asked to receive a Two Queen room and received it. Had a view of the Sphere and got to watch color testing.
Late Checkout: 4 PM. No issues.
Breakfast Credit: $65 at Grand Lux Cafe. Might be my favorite french toast in the world. A la carte breakfast menu ends at 11 AM.
Welcome Amenity: Bottle of champagne delivered to the room on the day of checkout.
Credit: $100 used at Yardbird for dinner. Made reservations in advance that saved us from a 30+ minute wait. Highly recommend.
Comments: Favorite FHR hotel never fails to disappoint. It is an absolute steal at $159 before taxes and fees. The number of restaurants you are able to use the $100 credit at has expanded over the past year. Brera Osteria has a great happy hour menu for drinks and pizza that would be worth using the credit at but it didn't fit into our schedule this time.

Hotel: Cosmopolitan
Room Name/Type: City Room 2 Queens
Check-in Day: 7/4/23 (3 nights)
Check-in Time: 1:30 PM (Room not ready. Received text saying room was ready at 3 PM)
Upgrade: Executive Suite
Late Checkout: 4 PM
Breakfast Credit: $75 a day in the selected restaurants given. We called down to the Henry and ordered our breakfast togo and also got breakfast from the District. Used the other days credits at Wicked Spoon.
Misc Credits: $100 Spa credit; $25 credit at Vesper Bar
Comment: When we checked in; the guest service rep asked if we had a preference in our room upgrade. We didn't care so much about getting a terrace or a strip view or anything, but we specifically wanted the Executive Suite. They gave this to us last time we stayed and found it to be perfect for us. We both still had work so the the large table in the room worked out for us
Also a quick note on Wicked Spoon, we got in line and waited about 10 mins. The receptionist told us that we were invited guest so we didn't have wait in the standby line and we can use the VIP line.
Rate Paid: $185/night

Has anyone booked a wraparound terrace suite at The Cosmopolitan using FHR? the FHR only has the wraparound terrace suite but doesn't list one with a fountain view where the cosmopolitans website has both when booking direct. Do you know if it is almost guaranteed you would be upgraded to a fountain view when booking it through FHR?
Thanks!
Thanks!
