*** Limited time offer ***
Amex EveryDay 15000 MR points after $1000 in 3 months
The 15,000 MR points offer is still available via referral from someone who already has the card. See or ask for this in the discussion. Or look at the Amex referral page: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/amer...posting-3.html.
These are the direct links on americanexpress.com. I have not scoured the internet to seek better offers. Note that both offers include this standard language:
Opening the application link in a Private or Incognito browser window, and not supplying any information about existing accounts, should prevent American Express from identifying you as currently having a card during the application process. They can still instantly determine this using your Social Security number, but in practice this may not occur.
Everyday Preferred (Groceries 3X, Gasoline 2X, General 1X; 50% bonus for 30 transactions in a billing cycle): - LINK

Everyday (Groceries 2X, General 1X; 20% bonus for 20 transactions in a billing cycle): - LINK
**You can now do a product change from AMEX Blue to the regular fee free AMEX EveryDay card. Unsure about other AMEX products that you can change TO the EveryDay card** This would probably preclude you from receiving any sign-up bonus, but moving from the Blue to this card is a + for some.
Use this calculator to work out whether you're better off with the preferred or regular card.

Anyone have an issue with posted transactions not counting toward the tracker? I have many posted transactions but my tracker is still at zero, but it does list the pending transactions...?

Having the same issue since April 24th. Multiple calls and not corrected yet. This cycle it has been stuck on zero for more than a week even though it seems to be counting pending but they are never converted to actual transactions.

I've seen it take close to a month for the points to post

for the current statement period (Apr 29-), i have 0 purchases showing up out of 11 posted transactions in my recent activity, 1 pending purchase.
i spoke with a service rep who then transferred me to MR specialist. NEITHER of them really understood how the 50% bonus with 30 purchases rule works. additionally, they can't view my point tracker, which makes it very difficult to convey this issue.
problem was never resolved. the MR specialist opened a ticket for me, and told me to expect a phone call in 3 to 4 business days.

The problem is that the 30 purchases goes by the purchase date and not posting date. I could make my 30th purchase on the last day of the billing cycle and even though it is posted after the cycles was over I would still get credit for 30 purchases. The problem is that now that last purchase shows up my new billing cycle and may lead to believe that by the end of the month I now have 30 purchases when in fact I was given credit for the first purchase in the past statement and am only at 29.

I'm no expert, I was responding to this,

And then there's the post #785
"I didn't realize this was even a "rule" for some. I was approved for the ED card in fall of last year (with 25k bonus) and then applied and was approved for the EDP in January of this year and received a 30k bonus. Both cards still open, neither were targeted offers."
I believe those being denied are attempting to get them so close together they look like duplicates.
There is no loophole exploitation with these cards like the AA or AS cards.
Probably waiting for a statement to close would be a good time to wait if someone wanted to have them both at the same time.

I received a call back from AMEX regarding the tracker issue. I was told that there is some sort of system wide glitch affecting the counter from correctly displaying the # of transactions, and that I would receive the 50% bonus.
That's really, all I needed to know. Previous reps couldn't tell me that for certain, and that was the issue.

I am seeing the same purchase tracking issues as others have reported on my EDP. In my case purchases made on/prior to 4/22 and on/post 5/7 are showing but anything on/between approximately 4/23 and 5/6 (don't have purchases everyday so not quite sure the exact dates) are not tracking.

Yes, started this month. Been using Everyday card quite a bit and sometimes it takes a day or two in the past for purchases to post and count; this month there are purchases that are posted and have not been counted as purchases for over a week. Account statement date soon and it will be interesting to see if all of them catch-up to be counted at that date. I suspect I might be dealing with customer service soon, but hopefully I will be wrong.

I applied for the EDP. Anyone had a Amex application not show up on the Amex Application Status page but received an email with a reference number for their application?
I called and they said 24-72 hours to process due to technical issues.
