Problem with the "Benefits" tab on Amex account website
For the last 3-4 days, every time I click on the "Benefits" tab on any of my card accounts, I get the following error message:

Is this feature down for everyone, or is it just a problem I'm having? |

Agreed.
Can not get to "Dispute", "Benefits" or "Credit Secure". I would not be surprised if this is more than just a major outage. On-line chat even says the agents have no access to systems. |
Just live chatted with a rep, said it should be fixed by the end of today. Cross your fingers?

I've been unable to add any airline loyalty numbers to my profile today. Might be related to other issues recently reported.
|
On the bright side, I was finally able to log into the FHR site again, so at least THAT is working again
|
So while we thought the Rewards section was down because of a problem, it seems it was down because they updated the look of at least part of it. The TRANSFER POINTS (to hotels and airlines) section has a completely new look and layout...

YES! For two days now.
I just came over here to ask how in the world one transfers MR to an airline or hotel program. I haven't done it in years, and just keep going through loops of pages on the AmEx website that never brings me to any page that will allow me to select my points and/or program to make a transfer. |

Incredibly annoying. I've generally been pretty forgiving of Amex, but their technology infrastructure has become utterly embarrassing. I routinely work with customers whose IT/Datacenter staffs would be fired for the anything even remotely close to the kind of downtimes/unavailability that this site exhibits. And they are literally losing money from me. I'm simply too lazy to call in, if I cannot check/review FHR pricing online, I simply don't book. Regards |

I politely asked to be transferred to a supervisor who advised a specialist needs to call me back within 48-72 business hours. No case #, no reference ID, and oddly he asked for my online password to their travel site to see if he could replicate. If it wasn't for the Amex lounge access, I would've cancelled today. :td: |
Amex MR partner trasfer site down?
Is anybody else having problems with the transfer site?

Welcome to Flyertalk. Are you having trouble navigating to the site? If not, please mention the step at which the process fails.

I've been getting the LA01-101 error for the past day or so. Others I asked have been able to access their MR accounts just fine. I waited on hold for MR customer service for 45 minutes with no answer, so that gives me hope it's affecting multiple people and not due to a freeze on my account or pending FR. I spoke to a Platinum customer service rep who was able to transfer 200 points to VX, so that's a good sign.
