is there enough time to clear transfer flight security at nrt and use the aa or jal lounge/shower with appx 1hr10 minute transit time?

Yes, NRT is generally very efficient. From the time you exit your arriving flight, you should be able to clear security again and be at the lounges in about 10 mins. Obviously not a lot of time, and I'd move briskly, but certainly do-able.
earlier this month we had 70 minutes from tg to br16 and managed it. |
I showed up by train 1 hr 10 minutes before my flight was to depart 2 weeks ago, got my tickets, through security, shower, beer and snack in the AC all before boarding was announced. Wish I had more time, but my bike riding tour went 40 minutes longer than it should have.

No, only ACs, but one can visit different AC locations during the validity of that pass. For example, if one is flying NRT-DFW-ORD and purchases one-day pass in NRT, one can access ACs at all three airports.
A 30-day membership can be an even better deal if you are flying enough during a 30-day period. |

Sorry for what's probably an easy question; however, can a 30 day Admirals Club membership get me into the JAL Sakura Lounge at NRT?

Certainly not; and already answered 8 posts up in this very thread.

Thanks for pointing out that post; however, I had already seen it. The poster had asked if an Admirals Club one-day pass could be used to get into the Sakura Lounge. However, I asked if a 30 day membership would work.

No. otherwise it would be called a oneworld lounge membership.

Okay; but, I can still access Qantas lounges with it, right? I guess *A works differently; I know that a United Club member can access a Lufthansa Business Lounge.
Access is clearly detailed on the AA page https://www.aa.com/i18n/travelInform...sLocations.jsp |
Read the thread and just to be clear,
I'm flying JL65 Business class SAN-NRT arriving at 4:55pm on Award ticket (U). Can I access Sakura lounge in T2 after clearing customs? First time in Japan and some bubbles would be a nice way to start. |

Thx for quick reply. Guess I'll have to wait for my return flight. I have a AC pass from a credit card offer. Will that work upon arrival?

Thx again! Guess I'll make the most of business class and find a good bar near hotel.
