Flying international F into JFK. Then F to LAX and up to Northern CA from there. Seems FFD and flagship are gone. Any special treatment or just the same mediocre ground and air offerings. I usually do DL and UA J. GRU or Europe to NYC. Then a premium transcon. Trying to see if F will be a bit better as the latter has been disappointed lately.

What a premium experience it was as a OWE at ORD this past week. No free (premium) drinks, no attempt at service recovery. I knew going in to expect this, but I thought maybe AA would empower their employees to make things right - foolish me!
No matter how low I set my expectations, AA somehow seems to not be able to meet them.
I completely understand this is a first world problem, but if they are trying to position themselves as a "premium" airline, it does not help the brand at all. I firmly believe that business travel will lag and that AA will need to fill the business cabin post pandemic, but I digress.

As an AS flyer with some down time at JFK upcoming, it sounds like the consensus is AC service currently is pretty bad and if I’m going to clear security I might as well go to t4 for the Amex lounge instead?

The Centurion Lounge will be far superior. But bear in mind that there is no airside connection between T4 and T7 or T8. So, you'll need to exit T4, AirTrain and re-clear security.

Yep, already knew that but thanks for the reminder. Have more than enough time to clear security and t7 was a sad state of affairs prior to the pandemic. With no AS lounge much rather go to t4 with my down time if AC isn’t that good. I’ve been wanting to use my new BAEC Silver status in the states for FL but another time

Any lounge options in HNL, for an AC Member/EXP/OWE flying AA F next week (with 3 family members in tow)?
I’m really bummed the Sakura Lounge/AC appears to be still closed.

Anyone have any updates on the PHL clubs? I know the B/C one is the only open one...how crowded has that been recently? Any word on when the A/F ones will re-open? Any word on when the construction in the Flagship lounge one in A will be completed?

Last time, when I was in PHL back in late-2020; the B/C club was empty during both morning and afternoon visits ( visited multiple times during mileage runs ); plenty of seats were available in all my visits. However, I can't speak about the current situation.

Popped into the ATL AC yesterday morning to say hi, scan my boarding pass and get a cup of coffee. The agent said they're not expecting to be open until July.

Flying out of DCA in a few months and have AC access through the Citi card. Know rules says you can bring in 2 guests or immediate family, but does the limit of 2 guests also apply to immediate family? Flying with my parents and sister so would like to bring all 3 in.
