"Eligible tickets include purchased, published fares"
I potentially have a couple of flights through my company's travel agency on AA negotiated fares (and hence be eligible for special fares, in theory) . I'm curious to see whether or not they would qualify for this promotion.

Your reply is much appreciated.
EDIT: Confirming that what you stated was what ended up happening (spend-based and counting towards the challenge). Took 47hrs to post. Thx again.

Hello, I was redirected here from the other AA Challenge thread.
I requested a challenge from 1K and was given a challenge to EXP with immediate status for "3 months."
I received the following e-mail:
Looking over the other thread and other sources for the regular (non-status dependent) challenges, it seems to be 90 days.
Does anyone know if it is 90 days or 3 months? I'm currently waiting on a reply from AA but figured I'd ask here too.
I requested a challenge from 1K and was given a challenge to EXP with immediate status for "3 months."
I received the following e-mail:
We would love the opportunity to earn your business JMBResona!
I'm pleased to offer you Executive Platinum status for three months.
During this period, we ask you to meet the following:
- Earn a minimum of $5,000 elite qualifying dollars (EQDs)
AND
- Fly 35,000 elite qualifying miles (EQMs) or 40 elite qualifying
segments (EQSs) on AA, and eligible British Airways, Finnair, Iberia, or
Japan Airlines flights
If you meet these requirements, your Executive Platinum status will be
extended thru January 31, 2020 and (4) systemwide upgrades will be
deposited into your account.
Please reply with your AAdvantage account number and the desired start
date. We suggest a date at least 48 hours in advance of travel. I'm
happy to schedule the start of your 3 month trial within the next 10
business days. Beyond that, I ask that you wait and contact me again
closer to your expected travel date as this offer is subject to change.
It's also important to note that after completing the challenge
successfully, in order to retain status for the 2020 membership year,
you must also meet the 2019 yearly requirements ($15,000 EQDs –AND-
100,000 EQMs or 120 EQSs) on or before December 31, 2019.
Another alternative is to wait until June 16th or later to start and
then if you complete the challenge successfully your status will be
extended thru January 31, 2021 (instead of 2020).
JMBResona, please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions.

My mother-in-law received a similar offer for Platinum that included 20 upgrade stickers just for registering. She flies AA 2-3 times per year and does not have status on any other airline.
Cheers,

Ha, I don't doubt it, but I have traveled to ORD, DCA, MIA, CLT this year, which DL doesn't serve from BOS (yet, at least. ORD/DCA flights will start Oct 1 or something). Will make life more comfortable to those destinations.
