For discussion about the lack of a Flagship Lounge at DFW, see Why is there no Flagship Lounge / FL at DFW? (consolidated)
Background: The DFW international terminal was previously Terminal A. The A Admirals Club offered both an Arrivals Lounge and a Flagship Lounge. These were closed after 11 September 2001; when the decision to make terminal D the c new in terminal, AA chose to build an expanded Admirals Club and omit both Flagship and Arrivals lounges. There is an AMEX Centurion lounge, and there are The Lounge at DFW and several contract lounges serving several airlines' passengers.
At DFW-A, the old Flagship Lounge still exists and is used for an occasional function or NR passenger; the old Arrivals Lounge is still there, and though no longer in service it's showers -arguably the most spacious and luxurious in the AA system - and small gym remain for knowing passenger's or member's use. Look for these facilities on your immediate left (FL) and right (AL) as you exit the elevators on the second (Club) floor.

I'd just fly direct. JFK FFD is not worth having to connect in the northeast in the winter and then taking a much shorter transatlantic flight.

At this point I'd say it's more of an "if" LAX FFD will reopen than "when." If you're flying AA F to LHR (or are OWE) you can use the QF F lounge, which is certainly nice.

Pay to access FFD?
I know you used to be able to buy access to FFD in DFW for $100. I have a special trip planned next month and wanted to spend a long layover and make it special. We are in J on QR with AA EP status so we have lounge access. Anyone know if they still do this? Can it be arranged ahead or just at entry if available?

My 2c having flown flown LAX-LHR quite a bit on AA: fly direct. Recently I also considered buying up to F routing elsewhere, but a direct flight from LAX is so nice (plenty of time to dine, watch a movie, sleep). The JFK flight is heinously short. And Qantas F is very nice.
If anything maybe do DFW. Definitely wouldn't do a JFK short hop to LHR just for FFD.

So is JFK's FFD still operating inside the "Greenwich" lounge (aka the old Flagship lounge) for a little while -- or has it already been replaced with the windowless Chelsea thing?

Where did the LPGS go? Is it sitting an empty FFD - i may have to try to get in there tomorrow when i am there.
Btw, when did they Redo the old FL to make it the Greenwich lounge? On Nov 30 after closing did they just remove all the furniture and set it up with all the new stuff? I somehow missed the construction of the 2 new lounges but I guess that was behind closed walls and above the gates and maybe one wouldnt notice but I was in FL 10/31, 11/3 and 11/9 and there wasnt any remodeling going on any of those times.

I don’t believe anything about the FL changed. They just changed the name of it and opened the doors between FFD, the former AC (both similar to COVID opening) and opened the bridge.

Detailed review here
https://thepointsguy.com/reviews/ame...s-jfk-lounges/
So essentially four lounge tiers.
Chelsea - Actual First (like the Concorde Room)
SoHo - Emerald
Greenwich - Business or Sapphire lounge
Admirals Club (now only in Concourse C).
(With a few deviations for AA cardholders)
Chelsea the only one with a full dining experience, but windowless.
Food options in SoHo and Greenwich appear similar and more limited (Salads, Yoghurt, Charcuterie and a few hot dishes)
Greenwich lounge incorporates the old Flagship, Flagship Dining and Admiral's Councourse A lounge.
Interesting naming that incorporates locals in both NY and London.

Speaking of the Bridge, i have been drawing a major blank. Where exactly was it? I was there once in 2018 and I remember it was very nice, i liked the decor and the small a la carte menu. Returned 2020 and many x since during Covid and recent and its no more of course. How was it accessed? You accessed it from the AC entrance or was it over by FFD there didnt used to be a wall? Just having a blank and was bothering me I cant remember.

Yes, you can use FFD on an award ticket. "Non-Revenue" tickets are referring to airline industry employee/family/friends travel.

So as of now, Flagship First Dining is only offered at DFW and MIA?
