I think the caveat about buying codeshares would apply. (Please see the wiki for "USability" .)

For those AA Business Extra members based in Europe, you will lose Business Extra at the end of November. The AA-BA-IB "On Business " programme is under discussion here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/ameri...ra-europe.html.

For those effected, points left in a Business Extra account (o)n Nov 30th will be lost, you need to migrate them to an On Business account via businessextra.com/migration - getting 3 On Business points for each Business Extra point moved over (will credit by Jan 30, 2016).

I have points from flights in June but flights from August and Sept have not posted yet. Not a big deal but same fare for two of us posted with a point difference. How does that happen with a computer calculation?

I had made requests for flights flown from May to last month because for whatever reason the Business Extra number was dropped off from my AAdvantage account. My earliest request made at the end of the July hasn't been reviewed yet.

In the same boat. Was surprised my balance had not changed all year. I confirmed the number is in my records and was showing. At least 10 roundtrips not posted that I'll either have to skip or chase down. Not sure it's worth my time doing the latter. Is this program being abandoned?

Not by American, and they're quite eagerly pushing this. For us, I do suspect some of us are abandoning it - it's tricky and not thatvremunerative for some of us, and the continual lack of posting, etc. get to be a big PITA.

Thank you for this information - I just checked our AAdvantage accounts and, sure enough, the Business Extra number dropped off these. I've since added them back, but I guess I'll have to try and call to add to the existing reservations.

Just saw some credits coming through, but doesn't seem to be proceeded according to time submitted or dates traveled (thus quite random).

Question for you guys: I'm based in Hawaii and I am considering to use BE points to travel to Europe. The reward chart specifies a North America-Europe award, but considers that North America excludes Hawaii... How many points will it cost to get Europe in saver business class?

I am really hoping that this will be similar to Advantage, where Hawaii is considered part of North America for international, but not for domestic. It will be a shame if I have to get two rewards, one to get to continental US and another from north america to Europe.

Thanks!

If the note on the award is correct, Hawaii is not counted as North American, then you would need 2 awards. You can call Meeting Services to double check as that is who you have to book the travel through. Additionally, you should call them before getting the awards anyway, to make sure there is availability.

Just found three expired BXP1 upgrades (expired 6/30/15) in my desk that I forgot about. Any recourse or are they garbage?

They'll keep you warm by feeding them to your fireplace.

Hi,

I've got three questions:

1) I have 1700 points set to expire at end of year. Does the whole book and cancel still work or should I just get a bunch of Admirals club day passes?

2) I booked several business class tickets recently on the BA site inputing my biz extra number but have not received anything. How long should this take or should I follow up with biz extra?

3) Does anyone have a biz extra 800 number?

thanks in advance!

Someone can correct me if Im wrong, but I am 99% sure that AA still requires BusinessExtraa tickets to be purchased on 001 (AA) ticket stock. While you can earn miles on BA, you cant have it on BA ticket stock (purchased on BA.com).

This was even that way with US Airways until October 17. You could earn on US Airways flights, but only if you had it on 001 ticket stock. I lost out on about $1300 in tickets from that one.
