the non grandfathering sucks as I have 23K worth of travel booked in this time frame and that would get me to platnium that much quicker this year. I know beggers cant be choosers but big.

Now I can only hope schedule changes enough to force a change and ticket reissue.

Without this offer I would have requalified as a PLT by August.

With this offer and a couple of unscheduled TATLs I'll hit EPLT!

Hmm.... ^

Seems like I will enjoy my trips to Boston that I thankfully did not book YET even more

And the next question will be: When will UA match

In my dreams they would count travel already booked ... but really, it's hardly surprising that they won't. The whole point is to create an incentive for incremental new bookings.

I feel the pain. triple RDM (so quad for plt/exp), triple BE points (so 5 times base), low fares, some 10 percent off codes, and double EQM... that would be a bonanza

Great news! I had an inkling that something might happen so I was glad to leave open several weekends. Now to find me a trip that's cheap enough to go for those empty weekend slots

I think many of us had flights that received the double EQM, even though the flights were booked in advance. I did book trips after AADER was announced, but all of my previously booked SJC-SNA trips, for travel during the AADER period got double EQM.

What if a reservation is booked and ticketed, but the return is upclassed, refared, changed, and reticketed on March, 18 for travel on March, 20?

1. If I change the itinerary, will that also change the ticketing date?

2. If the Outbound is before 6/15, and the return is after 6/15, will I only get double for the outbound, or will I receive it for the entire trip?

AADER did not have a restriction on when the ticket was purchased (see: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/ameri...qual-recs.html) so any travel during the eligibility period, regardless of booking date, would have received the double EQM.

Therefore, we can't use AADER as a gauge for if AA will have some "leniency" regarding booking dates for this promotion (I would expect that there would be no leniency, but that's simply one man's conjecture).

Great. The number of EXPs will increase exponentially.
