Worked fine for me, but I was on the site at T-minus 30 minutes.

I like it.

I like the front end, but the tail makes the whole thing look like a cheap afterthought.

Looks sorta like Air France. 773 looks nice though. ^

The new look is pretty modern but the tail looks like someone just threw some paint around

I'm actually OK with the new logo. Looks modern and fresh and I don't hate it. Which, in an of itself, is a big win!

Overall I like the logo better, but the tail ... well, there was one successful bring back the eagle campaign already, wasn't there? I'm neutral on the livery just because of that.

I actually get it though - the head of the eagle up front in the stripe up front, and the vertical stabilizer is to make us think of an eagle's feathers, so the entire aircraft becomes the eagle.

Barf. I think this is almost worse than United's rebranding. Who are these turkeys that make these decisions?

I'm with you on this. I PRAY the M-word doesn't happen. But the tail does remind me of the-airline-that-must-not-be-mentioned.

and my video link now says html5: Video link not found. fAAil!

Gotta agree. That tail is just plain ugly.

Interestingly enough, Horton mentions a possible merger in his remarks during the movie.. If they didn't want to merge, why would they mention it during a key-event for the new American?

Im sort of shocked that they mentioned the merger several times with "moving forward" with their business and the new logos in that video.
