Is there enough feed in the morning to support that flight in the morning?
I remember before Aug 2009 changes, it was S80, now it's CR7. As you said, soon it's gone after the Apr changes.
Other than the red-eye from LAX, is there any other feed for this flight really, I could see a ER4 for that flight but what about the return? Empty seats on a flight = loss revenue and opportunity cost.

Sorry if somebody mentioned this, but it looks like LAX-HNL is bringing back the 763 once a day. I'm not sure when this service begins but I found it in July. That's great news for me!

It looks like July 20th is the first date I see flight 31 (LAX-HNL) being a 763.

AA39 SFO-HNL also goes from 757->763 1x daily from Jun 10--Not sure if its permanent though as I checked booking in December and it's back to 757. Still some nice news
