You'll be seeing a significant increase in Eagle flying from Miami. From 45 dailies right now, to 70 in April, and around 100 by the end of 2010. This will mainly be brand-new flying, not mainline substitution. The new Eagle concourse will open early fall 2010.

Guess it's too late to change the year in the thread title and again in the 1st paragraph?

AA really won't be competitive in the ORD-SLC market with CRJs if they are up against DL with MD-90/738 and UA with A319/320. They are also decreasing their seats in the market.

Great news to see increased service to RSW (though how I dream it was on anything other than an AT7). Also great news on the new MIA Eagle concourse.

Thanks MAH, your posts are always appreciated, and always a wealth of information.

Adding a post with recommendation for changes, etc. doesn't actually get the job done. Moderators are volunteers with real lives - work, travel, etc.; we do not read every thread. Using the "Report Bad or Missing Post" (click on the little red-bordered triangular sign with an exclamation point in the middle) sends an -email to all Forum Moderators. Another member did this, which is ultimately how the thread title and first paragraph got changed.

For a while there I thought MAH4546 had developed a time machine. He was going to be a very popular guy in the event of mass IRROPS.

Thanks for the info.

How many F seats will the CR7s have compared to the A319? As I recall UA only offers 8 on many of their aircraft.

DL only flies CR9's and UA only CR7's on this route.

Agreed. I think I recall there being 3 (maybe 4?) flights a day up to a couple of years ago. I'd like an earlier morning flight from RSW in there to connect to some of the early MIA transcons.

Many thanks MAH4546

I'm looking at the Nassau and Key West frequencies and thinking "That's a lot of AT7 flights".

I haven't seen it noted in any of the other schedule change threads. Miami to Tampa goes from 5x 738 to 5x 738/1x 757 in November and drops the extra 757 on April 6, 2010.
