See the first post in this thread. MAH is consolidating all information there.

AA goes from 3X MD80's to 2X ER's to compete against WN with no baggage fees. This is a dead AA route.

WN doesn't run BOS-STL nonstop. But perhaps they will in the future.

There's also still a very minor amount of connection traffic possible via STL.

The change is consistent with AA's dead STL hub.

AA really wont be competitive on the route with WN 737s and no baggage fees. I'll go via ORD to get an upgrade and fly mainline. No thank you, Im not flying Eagle for 3.5 hours.

The answer is the same as the answer to a similar question on post 31.

3 hours on an ERD--wow. Great tool to push out underperformers from a company!

Hate to sound lazy here, but can someone do the math and list out the total number of flight changes per aircraft type, ie:

S80 -12
AT7 +4

etc so that we can see the overall trend, as we're expecting them to start taking the maddogs out of service.

I see the update to LAX-LIH and LAX-KOA, however, MAH4546 posted:

"More service to Hawai'i and Kona and Lihue get a second daily each."

I read that as in addition to the 2X LAX-KOA and LIH, Hawai'i was gaining additional service. Obviously, my apologies if I misunderstood.

Equipment after January 5th 2010 is pretty irrelevant out of O'Hare, because AA hasn't scheduled in the future 738 deliveries into the schedule. Also, there is a good chance that S80 parkings will be slowing down. In fact, they already have started slowing down quite a bit.

Also, six more ATRs are coming in April, although AA hasn't had the easiest time finding them. They will all be Miami-based.

MAH4546 :-:, thanks for the great information!
My bad, thanks for the enlightment. To me, it seemed like most posters were retired with a lot of free time to post on FT. My postings are only made during airport wait time or if I'm relaxing at the pool or beach. That's why some of my postings end abruptly, I have to board my flight and turn off my iPhone for take off.
