Soup soup everywhere- but what type, where and when?

That is the question that is this thread...

I'll have to second that.

At my school, they seem to always serve clam chowder on Fridays...
It isn't that bad, but I'm used to having it homemade with fresh razor clams, so it doesn't quite do it for me...

I've never seen soup at LAX. So sad...perhaps those Californians just don't experience enough gloomy weather to know how much better a good cup of soup can make you feel.

Soup de jour (ANC)

I seem to recall a thread that listed the soup de jour... but this is as close as I got to it...

ANC BR

Monday offered a Homemade Chicken Noodle

Today offers a Baja Chicken Enchilada

And the soups are by Sysco Corporation

Yes, they are tasty. But "homemade?"
(Most restaurant food in most of the country comes right off of a SYSCO truck.)

Maybe SYSCO has someone live in their factory.

Sysco? Or Harry's?

Somewhere I thought I read it was Harry's, and flavors seem to match up a bit more. Though, I don't see the Chili on either site!

This is what an ANC BR concierge said when I was up there today... Sysco (with an S not a C )... Perhaps SEA uses a different vendor?

It can't be homemade. If it it were homemade, the dragons would have made it; and everyone know, dragons don't live in houses.

Wed in ANC was the chicken trortilla soup. Very good with just the right amount of spice.

Thurs. in SEA they had the creamy chicken with rice & vegetarian chili. ^ ^

This is a nice lounge, quite a bit little larger than both floors of the SEA Boardroom put together. They do a nice job here also.
I've spent a lot to time in the lounge myself and I would agree that it's fairly nice. In fact, Air Canada has some of the nicer lounges in North America. The lounges are the only thing I miss about not flying with AC anymore.
