Has there been any info lately about whether or not we’ll be able to qualify for 100K with 2021 flying?

There has been no info about anything. When there is, I'm sure you'll read it here first, and then on the blogs after they scrape it from here.

Yes, it seems that the specifics of the new elite level have been firmed up. The big remaining issue is when it will be formally announced.

Guess: it won’t be based on 2021 flying but EQM past 75k will carry over

From your typing fingers to God’s ears. That would be the best case scenario for me. Will easily surpass 100k this year, and if I can have a head start for next year I’ll cruise to 100k in 2022. Have 25k already scheduled before mid-February

Again, I really hope MMs get moved to 75K from Gold. I did send an e-mail to Customer Care suggesting this as Alaska MM is so much harder to achieve than American's and others. I suggested that MM should always be the 2nd highest tier and 2 MM the highest. Hopefully someone took that into consideration. :-)

Ill easily be able to hit 100k this year, but that is mainly due to cheap 1st fares and bonus miles offered to start the year.

In a normal year, with 90% of my travel up and down the west coast, 100k would be a stretch, so I'm hoping that it would start in 22 based on 21 miles

Does MM still require only AS metal BIS miles? In that case 2MM really ought to earn the new top level because it's hard to earn miles only on domestic and near domestic flying.

It's supposed to difficult to achieve the 1MM and 2MM levels. And the new 100K tier may not be called MVP Gold 100K.
