todays choice was of the protein platter or the “Egg Bites with Potatoes.” I’m pretty sure it was referring to the Sous Vide Egg Bites with Bacon and Gruyere that has been previously posted. I ordered the egg bites which weren’t bad and not as greasy or salty.

mints were then passed out at the end.

Egg thing with bacon and potatoes. And a small bunch of grapes. It's a short flight, and we weren't expecting much, but this was really well done. Potatoes were tasty and the eggs fluffy.

There was no menu, and the choices were 'eggs or <other thing>', can't remember the other thing. This is likely to be a single sous-vide egg thing based on other's photos

The lunch choices, with no menu, were the turkey burger or the steak salad. Mrs CRAZ8 had the burger, but didn't like it much. I had the steak salad, and was quite happy with my choice. The 'champagne' chocolate had pop-rocks in it.

Hmmmm ... I'd say it was your orange carrot that got poisoned.
The yellow carrot is almost as big as your hunk of beef !!

AS 771 DCA to PDX on 10/9

They didn’t give me a menu since I had preordered, but think it would have been the same as the one a few posts above (beef or veggie enchilada). I was feeling brave, so I’d ordered the butternut squash enchilada casserole. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this dish. The vegetables were cooked well and it had really good flavor; slightly spicy. I would definitely order it again. They had salt and straw ice cream (I declined it, so not sure what the flavor was) and two passes of the snack basket.
At the end of the flight, they handed out pieces of chocolate (Mexican hot chocolate flavored). They’ve been back to chocolate instead of butter mints at the end of my last few flights and I’m a fan of the change

DUT: We got the same options for upcoming lunch on SEA-HNL flight #808. Note that the Chicken entrée comes with Brussels Sprouts (so nice and fragrant) and the Ravioli comes with the often stringy broccolini. I wish AS would come up with a better selection of vegetables. Fortunately the F & C Plate is also an option. No vegetables there.

Yes, I had same Sfo to Hnl back in September, the menu screenshot is a few posts back.
