See below in the expanded wiki for the list of the reconfigured aircraft.

December 3, 2015 Alaska announced a reconfiguration of its fleet.

You can find the scheduled tail number of your flight here:
https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/as123
(replace as123 with as[your flight num])
However aircraft swaps are frequent, even up to the last hour.

I haven't flown Alaska as an elite before, but just got upgraded to F on 737-900 AUS-SEA flight this weekend. Row 4 looks appealing, but what are the chances of me getting an equipment swap to a 3-row F cabin?

I would recommend row 2 if available for that reason (even if the risk is small) and also first choice on food.

Is there a choice on AUS-SEA? I know not on DFW-SEA.

I see there has been no update since 10/4...can anyone help w/that or alternatively, likelihood I'm on a reconfigured flight PDX-EWR and back in about 10 days. Thanks!

The odds are high (at least 80%!) that you'll be on a reconfigured plane

Funny one legacy '900 left and zero "AK" non-etops series left.

Found myself in row 12 yesterday - was in aisle at least, but companion in middle. They were not so happy- especially with the lack of a window (HVAC I know) - was a SDC so we did get home earlier.

flew 442AS a 737-800 PDX-EWR in first row of F on 10/31. It was great. Flew 403AS, a supposedly reconfigured 737-900 in first row of F today. Both flights in 1D and F. Today's 900 had appreciably less leg room than the 800 on 10/31---anybody know what's up w/that? I thought both were supposed to have 41" pitch?

For non-bulkhead rows in F, pitch on the -900 is 41" and on the -800 its 42". For the bulkhead row, there is at least a couple inches more legroom on the -800 compared to the -900.

FWIW, 442AS is a 737-900ER.

Our preference is always 2AC or 2DF depending on direction of travel then any row behind that as I like to fully stretch out under the seat in front of me. If row 1 is the only possibility then my partner will take 1A or 1F and myself 1C or 1D so I can stretch out into the isle.

2A/C myself. This gives a better chance at getting your food choice, plus quicker service

. I did not know this. Is there a difference between an 900ER and a 900 re pitch or do the numbers you cited stay the same? The 800 seemed way more spacious than the 900ER. Thanks!
