2. Click change and choose the card you want to work with (If you already had an online account your new card is added automatically, just click activate when you log on)

Also called the number and got the overnight shipping. At the prompts, I asked for Representative, then said New Card shipment, and then said none of the above when it asked if my card was lost, stolen or damaged. I asked the rep for overnight shipping and he said it was all set up after I confirmed address and phone number.

I was expecting an instant approval as I have only 1 BofA card (another Alaska card which I've had for years), have active deposit accounts with them, and am at 1/12, 3/24 for new accounts, high income, 800+ score. Going on vacation next week so would have been awesome to have the card in hand, but there's nothing they can do to expedite the process.
What was the phone number you called for reconsideration?

Same! Annoying. I called and got a kind but unhelpful agent who said I was not declined and I will get a letter shortly with further instructions, and said she can't give me anymore details. On a whim I called again and got a very helpful agent who said, again, I was not actually declined, and that in the next few days I will get a letter with a prepaid return envelope, and I will need to mail them a recent pay stub. He said once they get the pay stub to verify my income, based on everything else in my application, I should be approved and good to go. I also mentioned that my pay stub won't reflect the annual income I gave them since I included my expected year-end bonuses, and he said that it's not an issue, they aren't checking that it matches, just want to verify income.

Feels totally random - I have a card with them already in great standing and 780+ credit. Also for those who get the same message and want to call - the number is 1-877-261-3664.

From your experience with the other Alaska card, how long after completing initial spending will the companion cert be issued?
I have an award flight in 3.5 weeks. Hopefully I can use the cert then. Thanks.

P2 was just declined as well, but prefers not to make recon calls. So, we will have to wait for the letter. Hoping it's similar to the others that it will just be a verification request. We have several joint BofA bank accounts but P2 has not had any BofA credit cards in a few years. Presently, 3/12 and 800+ credit score, so it was surprising to see the decline. I have not yet applied since I'm waiting to drop to 6/12, which will happen in about 10 days.

And the deadline has passed for today's processing of an expedited card issuance, per "Dorothy from Virginia."

So they'll expedite my card's issuance tomorrow and I should receive it by Friday.

That's what I want to know too. Just says on "anniversary" which makes me think no. Except that under the same benefit info it says "the remainder of the 2025 plus the 2026 calendar year." Which 2025 would be impossible if it's only deposited on the first anniversary.

I did a live chat and you can go to the app and pull this info. Here are the steps:

1. Go to menu and click Manage Credit Card
2. Click change and choose the card you want to work with (If you already had an online account your new card is added automatically, just click activate when you log on)
3. Once on the card you want you should see a get card info button. Press than and it will take you to a verification page that you can do through text or email.

So are most of you also keeping your visa signature card? Or closing that account?

What do you mean it's different? The Atmos Rewards Ascent card is the same as the current Alaska MileagePlan VISA card, just with a new name, no?

A few questions come to mind...
  1. Is the Atmos Rewards Ascent card just a rebrand of the existing Alaska MileagePlan card? They seem to have the same benefits. Will BoA convert existing Alaska MileagePlan cards to Atmos Rewards Ascent cards or will they live on separate products?
  2. On the Alaska MileagePlan VISA card / Atmos Rewards Ascent card, there is a 30,000 EQM limit from spending in 2025, but no limit in 2026.
  3. On the Atmos Rewards Summit card there's no EQM limit from spending in either 2025 or 2026?
  4. If the 30,000 EQM limit for 2025 has been reached on the Alaska MileagePlan / Atmos Rewards Ascent card, is it possible to earn additional EQMs via spending on the new Atmos Rewards Summit card?
