How to obtain digital card info prior to arrival of physical card (hat tip to jbutters, post #73 below):
1. Go to menu and click Manage Credit Card
2. Click change and choose the card you want to work with (If you already had an online account your new card is added automatically, just click activate when you log on)
3. Once on the card you want you should see a get card info button. Press than and it will take you to a verification page that you can do through text or email.
4. Make sure you read agreements and notices and confirm
5. To add to your digital wallet, after following the steps above, return to "Manage Credit Card" menu and select "Digital Wallets"

Where to find your Alaska Lounge and Wi-Fi passes:
Method 1: Alaska app-> account tab -> click “view rewards” -> scroll down to see passes
Method 2: Atmos app -> rewards tab -> click “your rewards” -> scroll down to see passes

When do points earned from spend on the card post to my account?

- Reward points
typically post 1-2 days after the billing cycle closes
- Status points from the previous month’s spend typically post on the 18th of the following month (+/- 1-2 days) with a retroactive posting date of the last day of the month-of-spend. Example: Spend for the September 2025 calendar month: status points should post around October 18th (+/- a day or two) with a retroactive posting date of September 30, 2025.

Approved

Woke up to the email when I was just about to pay a big purchase. Great timing! Approved and got the 5k extra miles. Now my mind is going about the Ascent since it is different than the base Alaska card. What are BOA’s rules about two different card types? They have been very lenient in the past.

Anyone trying to do both Summit and Ascent? Could see them possibly flagging this if too close together.

other suggestions welcome!
it seems like BoA will let you product change most cards(even cobrand cards) to a no annual fee Customized cash(if it has no FTF it will keep no FTF on the product change).

Has anyone been able to add the Summit card to their Apple Wallet successfully? Have a big purchase in the next day that I am trying to put on the card but might have to wait the 7-10 days before receiving the physical one.

No. With other cards I got a digital number right away but not this one so far.

What does phone verification do? It's not my cell phone, it's an employers, and does not have my name on the account or number.

Keep it for the companion cert, if you get $99 value out of it.

Got the card, for status earning and dining spend purposes.

Wish:

1) The companion discount could be used for 50% off an award booking for solo travel instead (like BA).
2) I hope the lounge passes are giftable

It’s a form of ID verification that more and more companies are moving to. If it doesn’t have your name I wouldn’t use it to be safe

I'd like to take a moment to appreciate that this card has ZERO coupon book juggling and absolutely no credits to manage. Probably the easiest premium travel card ever to own in terms of mental load and the easiest decision chart ever made:

Do you live in an Alaska hub and travel with a P2 with any regularity on AS?
If Yes, card is at least worth for SUB.
If No, card is not worth it

FWIW, I was able to call in and get the card expedited for delivery in 1-2 days via UPS Overnight.

The Global 25K Companion Award is valid for up to 25,000 Atmos™ Rewards points off a published award ticket when the Primary Cardholder redeems points for travel and is traveling with another guest on a published award ticket on the same itinerary.

Interesting that it's a discount of 25k miles and not a companion ticket for 25k miles. Given the increasing costs of award redemptions, this seems disappointing.
