It depends on the airport. LAX and SFO and I think most US airports allow it.

Thanks. I called BOS (Logan) and CSR confirmed that I can access a terminal not on my boarding pass, but she reminded me that I have to go through security, which I knew. My intent was to try for a day pass at the Admirals Club lounge in B, for which I have $200 in Citibank AA credits to use or lose in 90 days; that will entirely depend on the lines at B security. There are PP restaurants pre-security in B & C, though, where PP provides $28 pp credits. And I could get a Hilton AMEX with PP access, but the annual fee is $95; however, 130,000 pts w/$2,000 spend. Any personal experience about time required for security around 6 PM? I have Global Entry/PSA precheck.

I have heard anecdotally of people not allowed in terminals not on their BP, but, in my limited experience I have not experienced it.
Check the airports website to see if they terminals are connected by airside transport (or walkways) and if they mention if there is any documentation requirements for moving between them.
