not the AF ones ?
Priority pass almost never allows access to airline lounges.

Indeed, except for when you depart from 2D with partners like OK.
Typically Priority Pass is not useful on hub airports - at least those that have separate terminals.

It grants access normally to independent lounges and sometimes to airline lounges on outstations (operated by contractors) like AF lounge in T2 in FRA

I would aim for FB Gold or Plat status in order to have AFKL lounge access.

Depending on how many XP you will need, the FB Amex Gold or Plat will be your choice to top up your XP count and help you reach your desired FB level.

No AF lounge in CDG are eligible for PP holders. And I am glad it’s the case because they are crowded enough without the hordes of PP

not at their hub(s), but it’s quite frequent at outstations. For instance, in the US, most (to not say all ) AF lounges are accessible to PP at certain times of the day).

You can use PP at the Air Canada lounge at CDG 2A and the Star Alliance lounge in T1.

And I have used it a several times at ORY which was helpful when flying with AT and other such airlines.

...but when flying AF within Europe there really isn't any option available. Unless FB Elite or flying business, no lounge access.

I'm in the Loire Valley, so I'm stuck flying from Paris unless I want to take Ryanair to... noplace I actually want to go. Quickly concluded that Priority Pass was pretty useless at CDG, so went with the 60XPs.

Indeed, but that's, at best, one half of your trip, if you fly to CDG. Less, if you fly via CDG.
AMS does have a PP lounge though.

i'll wait to see how my business trips go over the first months and i'll manage to get a new card if it's relevant

according to my business destinations, it may have stopovers in CDG, but probably not for long enough to enjoy lounges

i'll check at departure airports from these destinations if it's worth it

Is there a regular amount of delay for XP from the FB Gold card to be posted to my FB account? There is only 2 weeks between the end of card year and FB account!

If they don't post in time will they be able to manually override so I can keep my status?

Thanks!

They normally post within two weeks of the end of your cardyear.

For those who have one AF card and one regular card, do you know if you can cumulate rewards when you refer for both cards (Flying blue miles and MR points)?
