Print a copy of the AF page and if they challenge you, then show them the proof in writing. There should not be any problems if it is stated clearly on their site.

I haven't had the chance to use it yet but welcome this announcement.
and speaking of that, could we update the OP?

new opening hours until 2pm for example

Let us know how it worked!

Please let us know what happened.

I was in your same situation last year (although NW DTW-CDG in coach) and they denied me access as both ST Elite + AND a NW WC member... they were polite, but said I needed to have flown business class to enter.

As CO Plat (Skyteam Elite Plus) arriving on an AF flight JFK-CDG in economy, can I use this arrivals lounge? The AF site would indicate that I can:

Thanks a lot

Was in the arrivals lounge last Monday. The showers were out of action until further notice due to problems with the hot water supply. They still provide cold showers... something AF seems to specialise in!

shower at cdg for non-AF, flying AA

I'm flying AA economy arrving into CDG next week at 7:15 AM.

I'll definitely want to take a shower before my morning meeting.

I understand that AA doesn't have any showers there.

What's the best way to get a hot (or cold) shower at CDG? Spending a bit of cash for a pass is OK.

I'm AA platinum if it matters.

Thanks!

I'm traveling in B/E on a DL award ticket CDG - DTW and my mom is in B/E CDG-LAX. Both are booked in O. Is that the same as J? Can you recommend a good seat on flight 374 and 74 in Nov? I can't find seat maps and have never flown AF.
Merci!

welcome on FlyerTalk

your only option is trying to get a dayroom at the Sheraton CDG. AF lounges are for business travellers or Skyteam Elite Plus members only. no day pass or access for money

Question about showers at Charles de Gaulle Airport Paris

Hello,

I am going to be travelling by Economy Class(Air France) from DC to India via Paris. Are there shower facilities available at Charles de Gaulle Airport Paris for passengers travelling by Economy Class?
Thanks in advance!

1. Access only to those pax arriving on an AF-coded Business or First class ticket. Flight can be on other SkyTeam metal, but ticket must be AF. No access for SkyTeam elite/eliteplus members except Frequence Plus Rouge.

2. Lounge is located outide the customs area, which I find rather odd for an arrivals lounge. Upon arriving at Hall 2C, pass through immigration and customs and turn left. Proceed past all of the ticketing counters until you are at the end of the Hall; lounge is located on your left. It does not appear to be marked on any of the terminal maps. The C-2 referred to in the original post refers to check-in area C-2, rather than gate number;

3. Lounge has 14 private shower rooms, including one for the physically limited. There are all of the other usual Salon Air France accoutrements, including the computer I am using. The lounge area per se is not very large; more than 30 guests would feel crowded. Since not many people appear to be aware of it, at the moment (0900 Paris) there are only three guests.

4. Shower facilities have everything that you need - towels, washcloths, soap, and an amenity kit with conditioner, lotion, comb, razor/cream, deoderant, toothbrush, toothpaste. Showers are very nice with multiple heads and a hand-held wand. My only complaint was the flimsy washcloth, which was almost disintegrated when I was finished.

Hope you all find this information useful. This is a nice facility if you can take advantage of it. If only AF would open it up to a wider SkyTean audience...

I sitting in the arrival lounge at CDG right now. Had to argue with the lounge attendants to let me in even though I am ST Elite+ (FB Gold) They argued that since I was travelling on DL tix I was not allowed into the lounge. I didnt reveal my basic skills in french so I overheard them talk something like:
-I know only DL pax from Biz is allowed into the lounge
-Are you sure?
-Yes!
Then I pursued them to look it up in their manual....or call a manager...
And what do you know in the manual it was all so clear....
I get so tired to learn people to do their job especially after an 8 hours transatlantic flight...
So if anybody encounters the same attitude persist and if not that helps let them call a manager he/she should have correct information (I hope)

By the way this lounge is great I think one of the best perks of being Elite in FB. Especially for those of us who have employers that dont books us into biz

The only way is to walk.

Exit formalities at T2E, walk upstairs, and to your left, towards 2C.
You'll have to walk back towards 2F, crossing over at the train station / Sheraton.

Be sure you leave yourself enough time to enjoy the lounge ^

I have used this lounge several times as a NWA platinum flying on NWA. I do get a little hassle when entering. I am fluent in French so maybe that helps. Once on a business class ticket I got in the lounge and got my mom in (she was flying in coach with no status) and my wife in (she just met us at the airport) with no problems. I think it just depends if the person is in a good mood.

Cheers,

Timo
