New CDG 2F Lounge
AirFrance is due to open its new CDG 2F Lounge in “mid-July”. I’ll fly on 12 July through CDG and was wondering if anyone knows whether this new lounge has any chance of opening soon? 👀

there are 2 SP security checkpoints at 2F. If you use the central one (in the middle of the terminal), you will have to go left past security. The new lounge is closer to F1 pier than F2. If you use the SP security on the far left of the terminal, you follow the corridor, pass F1 pier and the lounge is shortly after.

I had the TA on the Ultimate Line today and indeed, it seems it won't open on the 14th of July. She told me today the "Security/Safety Commission" was going to do the inspection of the place, so if they find something needs to be modified, it will take some time before the opening.

For sure, building pre-opening safety inspections are something new that they hadn't anticipated in their construction planning

I am currently in the 2F1 lounge of Air France and I asked staff when would the new lounge open.
They all laughed and said: "We do not know"
