Sad news in our household as I had to cancel our LP mileage bookings for next month and as a lowly FB Gold member, I am unable to make any new bookings. End of an era for our family, but we did get two flights for the three of us over the last 10 months (including on January 2nd which was clutch).
I am probably somewhat of an outlier here as I valued the in-flight experience more than others seemingly while I didn't think the lounge was that great. Maybe we got lucky on our two flights both departing from CDG?
Funny thing is I will still credit any domestic flights I take on Delta to FB because they are better than Delta when it comes to award flights to asia on China Airlines and have some other good partners.

Same boat here... did you ask to switch dates or just outright cancel? I've had some minor schedule changes on a roundtrip LP award ticket ex-SFO with my wife for flights we likely cannot take. Not holding my breath, but no downside to asking. Any Golds had luck getting them to change dates on an existing booking?

From AF's perspective, it's not if you live by the mantra that "there's a sucker born every minute", which seems like their m/o these days for P and J award tickets. Fine for them but I'm not going to play that game. And I doubt anyone with half a brain will pay 931500 miles and 482 E for that ticket but to each his own.

With over 2 M. miles earned exclusively by flying, I just paid 630K miles for a CDG-SIN round trip in P but there's no way I would pay more than that. It's already to me above what I find reasonable.
For ex, I flew CDG - JNB last march in P for 430K miles which makes more sense.
I used to fly P to MEX, GRU & JFK pretty often but recent prices increases forced me to look at alternatives. Above 8 k€ is my limit so far and I am not willing to pay more (my shareholders neither... )

Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to ear 2M miles ?
Because 630K is almost a third of your total miles earnings, which is a huge one-shot miles redemption. How much would it be in full cash? above 8k ?

For this specific ticket, it was more an "extra effort" to make my wife enjoy P
And we can both of us enjoy P ground services & P lounge access

Mrs. SFO777 and I just departed AF65 from LAX-CDG and other than the Millésime, the wine list is just garbage.
On an amusing note, we encountered the best and most brazen self-upgrade attempt I've ever seen. We boarded thru 1L to find our 1EF occupied by a couple enjoying a glass of Millésime. After they were evicted, out of curiosity I walked back thru the cabin to find where they were sitting... Premium Economy seats 24G/24E.
