Same boat here... did you ask to switch dates or just outright cancel? I've had some minor schedule changes on a roundtrip LP award ticket ex-SFO with my wife for flights we likely cannot take. Not holding my breath, but no downside to asking. Any Golds had luck getting them to change dates on an existing booking?
I did not. Our summer travel is very much in flux right now, so its not like a 1-day change, but sometime in the future change. Plus, there is a decent chance we end up going to asia in the fall so just took the miles back and booked 3 seats on LAX-TPE direct which is at a pretty good rate for Skymiles partners
