I'm seeing AC760 (SFO-YUL) diverting to YQB FR24 link, is that because of all the flights diverting to YUL from YYZ?

Yea. Some flights from the west to YUL are turning around and going to YWG. Everything inbound to YYZ went to YOW/YUL/YHM and filled them up, now many of those going to YOW/YUL etc have to go somewhere else.

I am flying out of YYZ tomorrow and just received the "You can change your flight" email. "Your upcoming travel at Toronto (YYZ) may be affected by operational recovery. Currently, your flight is operating as scheduled, and no action is required."

It said I could book alternate flights at no charge, but, predictably, when I tried, it wanted to charge me going rates.

Id give them a bit of slack for the next few hours. Things are an incredible mess.

So, diverted to YUL?

I'm on 887 inbound from VIE. We were about 5 minutes from final when we diverted. We were running early and I was emailing with the concierge to put me on an earlier flight to YEG when it happened. Currently sitting in YUL (1647 EST). We are taking on fuel and sitting prepared to continue, so, nobody is ready to fully call it yet. If we don't get to YYZ today, it will likely take me days to get to YEG from YUL unless there is a significant capacity addition. I'll edit my post if we get any material updates from the cockpit.

Sitting at SCL gate C2 as we await AC93 to depart SCL for YYZ. We are scheduled to arrive at 5:40 on Feb 18.

No word yet at our gate as to alternate arrangements or whether we will fly out tonight.

Was supposed to by flying to SFO via LAX today got when I got to security they had the door to customs shut and weren’t processing anybody and then we found out. When I tried to rebook for tomorrow with the concierge apparently their ability to rebook using airport and reservation system is completely blocked with no timeline for when it will be reenabled. Strangely our flight is still showing as delayed until 19:00 not cancelled but assuming we won’t be leaving as Pearson closed till 2:30am atleast. Got booked into a hotel and will wait it out now.

Now that we're reasonably sure everyone's reasonably okay - it sure would be nice if AC would turn on the auto-rebooking tool.

Looks like CYYZ may be opening somewhat tonight. Not at anywhere the capacity to run normal operations, but some flights that were/are showing as diverted appear to be making it way to CYYZ:

And a bunch are not diverting anymore. If I was a betting man they are trying to figure out something closer to what they can operate before they turn on the auto rebook tool.

yep. We were diverted to YUL first then told there was no room so were going to YOW then we were diverted back to YUL. On approach we had wind shear and did a go around and finally a hard landing in YUL.

just getting fuel now and hopefully on our way to YYZ soon. Fun day to fly.
