Never weighed in on this thread before, but I actually have something of note for once.
Flew J, this past Sunday from DEN-YVR, scheduled departure of 1300. I fell asleep when menus were originally handed out, so I didn't get to choose, but what I got given was actually pretty good. Didn't think to take a picture sorry. One choice was some kind of pasta, sounded pretty pedestrian, there's a good chance I would've picked that had I been given the chance.
What I got wasn't even what was on the menu. The flight attendant was sure to mention that. What was catered was some sort of like Southwest Chicken Mess. There was a cornbread muffin kinda thing, not my speed, I've never liked cornbread. But beyond that was grilled chicken chunks kind of thrown together in a mix of corn, black beans, and sort of a less wet pico de gallo, then some kind of a dark red sauce, not marinara, not salsa, but it was good. I was actually pretty pleased with it. Never seen it before, and to look at it on the plate, it wouldn't be the prettiest dish to look at, but I can definitely recommend it if presented to you as an option.

I fly atl-yyz and iah-yyz soon. Both are lunchtime flights and over 2 hours. Do they serve meals for the CRJ9 and E75 for transboarder flights? Is it still a cold meal for the CRJ? Thanks in advance.

Flew on AC-1882 (YUL-CUN, operated by Rouge) yesterday.
Catering was the frittata with red pepper relish and sausage, or pancakes.
I had the eggs, and was pleasantly surprised. It was actually quite good!

I ended up having the salad, roll, carrot cake.... and a smoked meat sandwich from Y.
I wasn't overly impressed with any of it, but it was nice to have a warm roll.
Of course, the SD had made some amazing Indian dish for himself, and the smell was very noticeable through my mask on a lav trip, so I was quite envious.
