I think we will see poor do attendance until (if) we enter another lockdown. We will probably see an uptick in attendance once the weather takes a turn later in the Fall/Winter.

I don't know what you mean by "lockdown".
Leaving my home has never been prohibited, and I still can't go to my favorite bar, so either there was never a lockdown, or there's still one.

Granted, people don't go to Tofino because they want to stay 'online', but it's nice to have the capability if you need it, especially when you're shelling out $400+/night.

In contrast to most places on the west coast of Vancouver Island (ahem, Port Renfrew), there is actually fibre along Highway 4 to Tofino and you can get Telus gigabit FTTH there, so I'm surprised that many of the hotels including some pretty spendy ones have not upgraded. The project was completed in 2016 IIRC.
Granted, people don't go to Tofino because they want to stay 'online', but it's nice to have the capability if you need it, especially when you're shelling out $400+/night.

I suspect the actual admin side of the property has great connectivity and they just choose to give lack lustre service to the patrons.
I'm just happy that we usually have electricity when we're there. Usually.

Audio only, but https://discordapp.com/ might be a good option or teamspeak (used for e-sports teams), especially if it was more of a drop-in type thing.
