It's YKA. And I thought the idea was to do YVR on Saturday and YKA on Sunday. AC only has one flight/day from YVR to YKA (dep 13:00 arr 13:48). I can't do that flight and also do the things I was coming to YVR to do in the first place.
If we don't do YVR on Saturday, I could still meet you and nomadic.relief in YKA on Sunday. I would just take WS YYC-YKA on the Sunday and fly out the next day. Or maybe I'd fly YYC-YVR-YKA. I'd have to think about the value of the Aeroplan at 50% off vs the simplicity of just flying WS. I have a few spare bookings that I could move around. I'd have to think about it, I just woke up from a nap and am not at 100% yet.

If people are looking at YKA (where I'll be) it'd have to be capped at 5 additional attendees, restaurants are mostly capped at 6 guests. It'd definitely be an outdoor space, there are a few nice patios I could book. And I've realised I am working the Sat, so wouldn't be in town until 7ish, but Sunday is open. Again, great patios for brunch/lunch/dinner, but I'd have to leave town that night by 8 or so for next job.

Dang, I missed out on all the chatter. I've been thinking of visiting Vancouver and Whistler in lieu of YYT next week, since I've taken the time off already. I'd be interested in meeting up for something in YVR/YKA if it happens!

So, cow, with you doing this YVR mini-Do tonight, is the virtual Do dead? Or are you going to open it and make someone else host so it can continue in your absence?

I'll make someone else a host if they think they'll be staying on, and I'll make pretty much everyone a co-host as usual.
Given that the virtual do tends to run later than restaurants/bars are open, I'm sure I'll be back on later anyway.

I'll bounce on soon. Once I'm finished this glass of wine.
It's nice outside.
The view from my wine glass.
