YYZ-CPT (or JNB) on the B789
I would love to see more African routes. ACC would be great.

I haven't checked for a while but I believe their only African route is YUL-CMN

Feasibly - yes. Can they do so while realizing a profit? Probably not.

YUL-ORD, at least within 2 hours of it's currently schedule time.

Hahahaha I take it you are still sitting in YUL TB? Looks like you may end up being right about staying in a hotel...

on-topic: YVR-JFK! now that the CX flight is gone
There was lots of speculation that YYZ-JNB was going to be added with the introduction of the Dreamliner, but nothing yet.

There is the seasonal YUL-ALG on ACr too.

I would love to see a direct YEG - LAS route offered, right now there's only two airlines offering this, Westjet and Swoop which also means that the flights are usually pretty jam-packed. Although it helps that Westjet has pretty great times for the flights.

ACr does offer this. All flights into LAS are ACr.

Not according to the Air Canada booking, all of the YEG to LAS flights have at least one stop.

AC did operate this route via rouge starting in October, 2018, but cancelled it recently.

Second YUL/YYZ-BEY. I fly BEY-YYZ 2-3 times a year, connecting in either FRA or LHR. Sometimes at least a 1/4 to 1/3 of the BEY-FRA/LHR flight ends up on the YYZ flight, so I think it would be profitable. I know that they introduced YUL-BEY about 10-15 years ago (I actually had a ticket that was subsequently changed to BEY-FRA-YYZ!), but heard it never got off the ground due to security concerns.

ORD and YVR are flights from the past. As well as DTW/YOW/YUL, etc.

If they can make YVR-MEL profitable, I'm sure they can make YYZ-CPT/JNB profitable.

CPT would be considered a premium travel destination.

If the issue is burn fuel to carry fuel, they can do stop over refill somewhere along the way.

I doubt YYZ-CPT/JNB can bare the same ticket price as YVR-SYD/MEL/BNS. Travellers on this route are probably more price sensitive. Another difference is that there is very few reasonable alternatives on YVR-SYD/BNE/MEL, going through US doesn't save much, going through Asia takes too long. But on YYZ-CPT/JNB all you need is a connection in FRA/LHR and you can get reasonably priced tickets.
