More Rouge for us on the island. yippee

Interesting from the Press Release, I don't think I've seen the bolded statement before:

"All flights are timed to connect conveniently with Air Canada's global schedule, and provide for Aeroplan accumulation and redemption, Star Alliance reciprocal benefits, and for eligible customers, priority check-in, Maple Leaf Lounge access at mainline airports, priority boarding and other benefits."

I guess that matches the discussion in the other thread about BGI lounge access.

BGI never had an MLL

What's a "mainline airport" anyway? YXE?

Wow. I did not see these flights coming! For Kamloops and Nanaimo, this will be quite the bump from the normal Dash 8s they currently see...

Seems like Rouge is really taking over BC...next summer they'll have these routes, plus YYZ-Abbotsford, YYZ-YYJ (twice daily, incl a 763) and YYZ-YLW (twice daily).

AC still plan to use 767 for long haul flight? I will pay attention to the OTP of this flight.

Wow, I just noticed that the YOW-FLL flight I will be flying soon is actually operated by mainline, not Rouge! I was certain that all Florida destinations had long been rouged! Does anyone know why this one stayed with ML?

Afaik there are no Rouge flights ex-YOW, so the handful of Caribbean / Sun flights are operated by ML.
